IT'S a strange kind of Saturday ahead of what could be a sensational Sunday.
Chelsea v Man City, Man Utd v Liverpool, Hamilton v Rangers and Celtic v Motherwell – none are on Saturday.
There are no standout fixtures really although Spurs will get plenty of punters off to a flier if they beat Burnley at lunchtime.

Well done to all the winners on Friday including Greg and Scott with two out of three on his West Ham v Fulham preview. He's had a good year with many more winners than losers so look out for his weekend Euro tips.

Not sure what you mean by “giving someone else an opportunity” – that’s exactly what I’ve done with the likes of Greg and HullShaker.
I’m not aure what it is about Saturday midday games but teams (and fans) always seem to be a bit sluggish. I tend to avoid them because they can go completely against form. Taking the early KO in to account, there could be some value in the early Getafe v Rayo game for the half time draw at 2/1 (bet365).
Given the recent form of Huesca and Villareal below, Rayo have recently cut back on their customary expansive/beautifully reckless play in a bid to get points on the board. Tactically set up to prevent Atletico Madrid dominating last weekend, and nearly getting a point, I can see them playing a similarly tight back line in a difficult fixture against Getafe.
Early kick offs in La Liga are difficult to predict but, given the circumstances, I think Rayo will want to keep it tight and nick one on the counter as a game plan. Given the early start, I am going for the h/t draw at evens.
Add the Melbourne derby h/t draw, Osasuna win and Lincoln win for 15/1 (bet365). Fingers crossed it is not over before 2pm.

Regulars on here will know I’ve been backing County for a few months now so will keep this fairly brief. County are on an amazing run of 19 games unbeaten – 16 wins and 3 draws. At home they’re particularly strong and score more.
The National League North title contenders take on National league outfit Maidstone, who have lost more games than they’ve won this season. Whilst they’re in the league above they’re sat second from bottom, 23rd place and things aren’t looking great for their chances of avoiding the drop to the NLN. I actually expect these two teams to swap leagues next season.
Kent isn’t exactly nearby to Cheshire, and Maidstone have had some journey to get to the ground, this again could be a factor in County’s favour.
This is a cup game of course, but County are going to be taking this seriously as they aim to continue their winning streak and keep the momentum going into their next league match. They thumped Harrogate 4-1 a few weeks back, who are a much better outfit than Maidstone, and sit 9th in the National league.
County were 4/1 outsiders to win that game and how they proved the bookies wrong.
Odds are more humble this time round but I think EVENS it’s still excellent value.

Bet 365 have started doing a lot more markets pre game on the QSL, which means a lot more goals markets. Team to look out for- Al Sadd. 71 goals in 16 matches this season. (87 if you add what they’ve conceded) This side don’t care if they are home or away, they just score anywhere, it’s 37 in 8 home games and 34 in the 8 away games. Folk might go into the stats and see they lost the last match against today’s opponents 8-0 and let that put them off- do not be fooled, that was a cup match and they got their keeper sent off in the first half and had no sub keeper on the bench. There should be goals in this game, at both ends I suspect.

last weekend brought us our second defeat in four games, a disappoining shwoing at welling and a 2-0 victory for the hosts, plus a red card for two yellows for kyle cameron at the heart of our defence, he’s out for two games now, but we have an adequate deputy ready to step in to his boots.
so, today, dulwich hamlet and their bearded fans come to town, with one win this year they appear to be ripe for the taking, but they are as keen on scoring goals as we are! last saturday was the first time we had failed to score in a league game since GJ took over, and we’ve only kept a clean sheet once in eight games ourselves.
the obvious bet will be torquay win and btts (a generous 9/5 betway), the straight win is 2/5 which probably reflects the way the game should go. we’ll be out to prove that last time out was a blip, woking used their game in hand up on tuesday and now top the league. however having played around 35 consecutive games at home they now have three away on the trot, and we’ll be wanting to put the pressure back on them.

Like Sean, I’m drawn to the Qatari game but Al-Sadd’s recent away form has got me looking towards the value in the home side. An 8-0 and 5-0 win for either side in their two meetings this season is frankly quite ridiculous. Sean has already explained the reasoning behind the 0-8 anomaly, but even so, Al-Sadd have kept just 1 clean sheet since that game. They’ve conceded 7 in their last 3 against some of the poorest attacking threats in the league, so I’m definitely leaning towards an Al-Rayyan side who have scored in every home game since a defeat to today’s opposition a year ago.

Great odds for a game between a rock bottom team and a team which have improved massively in the new year. NAC really need to get forward to get the points. They haven’t scored in their last 3, but conceded 11 in their last 3 games. In the 5-0 loss against Ajax they had some good chances to score at 0-0. At home they can score goals. Bury are flying lately and I felt they were overpriced against an average Oldham side. Made a nice profit from this but could of made a fortune had Stockport won. I followed a regular on his tip of Stockport the last few weeks but unfortunately they couldn’t win this week. Bet 365 have started doing a lot more markets pre game on the QSL, which means a lot more goals markets. Team to look out for- Al Sadd. 71 goals in 16 matches this season. (87 if you add what they’ve conceded) This side don’t care if they are home or away, they just score anywhere, it’s 37 in 8 home games and 34 in the 8 away games. Folk might go into the stats and see they lost the last match against today’s opponents 8-0 and let that put them off- do not be fooled, that was a cup match and they got their keeper sent off in the first half and had no sub keeper on the bench. There should be goals in this game, at both ends I suspect.

Sunday’s A league tips
Said yesterday when I looked at the fixtures I thought all 5 games looked good for btts and although the pheonix have let that down I still think the last 2 games could see it. First up is the jets v Adelaide. I watched Adelaide at home to wsw last week and the only word that could be used to describe their performance is wretched. They had a 5 min spell before ht where they looked good but a team as poor as the wanderers pick them off at will. To me the jets will want this more- a win and they are right back in the hunt for the top 6. They are in the better form as well. 2-1 jets for me.
The 2nd game sees table toppers the glory away to wsw. The wanderers have found a bit of form recently, but they concede to everyone ( 3 clean sheets in 20- 2 against bottom dogs ccm) I think the wanderers will have a go but the glory buoyed by the fact the victory dropped points, will have too much for them. Glory Win/btts for me.
