I did say not to back my goals double if they didn't feature but it was the Braga game that beat the double as Barca netted late in a 2-1 defeat. However, anyone on could have cashed out for decent profit when Benfica equalised.

That summed yesterday up for me lmao. I had a double and was waiting on over 6 corners in that game. I got frustrated just after half time when it wasn’t looking likely and backed under 3 at 16-1 and lost by one.
Day 3 of my betting challenge. I’ve picked out over 1.5 tmg’s in the Australian A league match. I’d previously watched Brisbaine Roar concede a 2 nil advantage in their last outing that saw a Man City like last 20 minutes for the visitors. They crumbled quicker than Teresa Maye’s Brexit strategy. Brisbaine with home advantage had a man sent off in the last game to Perth on 57 mins, the resulting penalty on 59 mins was about it until Perth put the hammer down on 81 minutes. By the 87th minute, it was 2-4 to Perth and game over. So Brisbaine’s defence is probably on par with Rotherham and Burton’s.
Melbourne City V Brisbane Roar @ 08:50hrs. To be fair to Brisbaine, they catastrophically failed inside 30 minutes, its took the Uk’s PM 2 years and still no end in sight.
Brisbaine face Melbourne away. 4th v 2nd from bottom. A few international faces away in the AFC cup but that rarely affects Aussie A league games anyway. I think this is ripe for at least 2 goals. That’s why I’ve avoided the paltry 1/25 on offer for overs 0.5 tmg’s and gone for a slightly riskier but better priced 1/5 for the overs 1.5 tmg’s.
I have a day 3 start balance of £194, I guess I’ll find out early doors if my choice was right.
On a separate note, I’ve had a look at the Leeds match preview and I agree with most of it. Leeds did thump us 4-1 at our ground in August but Derby had 9 new faces in and little time to build a style of football. Leeds rocked up and essentially cut us in half. Elland rd for Derby used to be a team/place we feared. We’ve won 5 of our last 10 head to heads which is more Rams victories than in the previous 35 head to heads. When we did finally scalp Leeds – I think under Nigel Clough, we’d not beaten them at their ground in 37 years.
Derby have scored 20 goals on the road this season, the bulk of our goals and have racked up a massive 85% probability of scoring against the opposition away from home.
We still have a dreadful defence, Leeds has the same problems but I think this will be a tighter affair. We are also more likely to concede first, its our thing now.

I remember you talking about these years ago, but I’ve never seen you share the details until you’re a few hundred pound in, by which point I don’t think anybody really gives a toss if they haven’t been with you from the start.

I think this is a very difficult match to predict. City are a good team at home and are difficult to break down.
Brisbane have been unlucky in the last few games. They have played fairly well but results haven’t gone in their favour.
I will watch this match with interest. If it remains scoreless first 10 to 15 minutes, then I will be on brisbane to score before the 70 minute mark which should be around evens.

Telstar only won 1 of their last 6 games and only won 1 of their last 5 home games. Telstar scored 22 goals and conceded 33 goals this season. 18 of these goals 22 were scored in the first 12 games of the season. Telstar had a couple of youngsters on loan who were really good at the beginning of the season, but it looks like none of them will star in the second half of the season. Striker Lescano has gone back to Parma, striker Seager will go back to Southampton and midfielder Kyle Scott is already back at Chelsea. That last player was really loved by the fans and they saw him as their best player. Due to an argument with the manager he is back in London now. It looks like these players were very important for this Telstar team in the beginning of the season.
Helmond Sport collected 7 points from their last 4 games. They only had 6 points before that 4 games. Helmond scored 20 goals in 19 and conceded 31. The big difference with Telstar is that Helmond drew 7 games (Telstar drew 1). Helmond will have most of their injured players back after the short winter break and I think they are too low in the table. I think the odds for this game are just wrong, Telstar should never be a 1.60 shot and I wouldn’t recommend to put money on that. Telstar were odds-on on two occasions this season. They were 1.48 when they beat Jong Utrecht who were bottom at the time and they were 1.80 in the cup game at AFC which they lost 5-0. I am not going to say Helmond will win this game, but at the prices you can have them on side with a win, a draw or get your stake back with a small loss. Telstar have won only 1 of their last 15 games by more than 1 goal.

Looks like both teams will miss a lot of players (and their best) for this game.
Ajax will miss: Schuurs (14 games), Bakker (13), Eiting (3), Cerny (12), De Wit (12), Ekkelenkamp (11), Gravenberch (12), Jensen (7), Lang (10).
PSV wil miss: Aboukhlal (9 games), Gakpo (10), Obispo (9), Piroe (13), Ramselaar (3), Sadilek (4), Teze (13), Verreth (16).
The bookies have all these players in their goalscorer market, which brings value for others. I like the price of attacking midfielder Lundqvist of Jong PSV to score. He scored 7 for Jong PSV this season and 5 in his last 10. He is also on penalties and with so many players missing I think we will see a high scoring game like we see in many youth games. He will be one of the best players on the pitch.

Never a dull game in Vallecas and tonight looks set for goals and some pretty open football. Celta arrive on the back of a really poor game against Bilbao and will want to get some space between them and the relegation zone.

Kakuta is not in the squad as he tries to force a move to Amiens, which is a shame but Rayo have been doing ok without him. Raul de Tomas will be looking to get on the scoresheet and I would be surprised if this game stays under 2.5.

Lille are having good season, 2nd in Ligue 1 behind PSG even though they have played 1 more game than the teams below them in the table. I remember Lille being one of the top teams in France. Only 7-8 years ago they used to float around top 5 positions and even won the league in 2011. Since 2013 they kind of lost their way and have not finished in top half of Ligue 1 table. They avoided relegation last season only by 1 point ahead of Toulouse FC.
Lille’s record at Caen ground is Huge! They have won at Caen last 7 times and they will looking to continue that great run.

These guys remind me of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez from 2016 for Leicester. Usually when a team is having a good season (some like to call it overachieveing season) there are always some players at the center of it all. Just like Vardy and Mahrez, Pepe and Bamba are on a roll for Lille.
Lille have scored 29 goals so far in Ligue 1 and this duo has scored 20 of them! Pepe is second top scorer in Ligue 1 (only 1 behind superstar Mbappe) with 12 goals and Bamba has scored 8 goals. Neither Pepe or Bamba have scored in last couple of games for Lille but may be one of them is due to score in this game? This is where I’ve gone for gamble today. I’m backing both of them for first goal because stats suggest it wont be a high scoring game. Lille have won 6 of their last 7 visits to Caen by single goal so this could be a 1-0 or 2-1 again.
