AFTER mundane friendlies and just as mundane Nations League matches it's good to have a normal Saturday.

Last weekend was great in terms of winners and a repeat would be nice but while there are some decent games picking winners doesn't look easy.

The action starts with Spurs v Liverpool at Wembley and armchair fans can then enjoy Watford v Man United in the evening.

Most of my tips are reasoned on the Scottish and English preview posts and there are mainly long shot VIP tips for members only.

Well done to all the the Friday winners – my Top Treble was a Huesca goal short.

Remember to have a look at welovebetting for their tips and video chat.

Queen of the South v Ross County (7pm)

What a joy it must be being a QoS fan at the moment – they have the most in form striker in British football in Stephen Dobbie, he ‘s scored an incredible 18 goals already this season and this side are scoring goals for fun. They’ve scored 17 goals in their last 5 games and at home, they certainly use their artificial pitch to their advantage.

I’ve seen them in action this season and I was really impressed, they knock it about well and although Dobbie gets all the limelight they have some cracking players. Dobbie can thank fellow striking partner Lydon Dyke for a lot of the goals he’s scored. The big Austrailian a real handful and terrific in the air and they work fanstastically well as a front pair.

They welcome league leaders Ross County who managed to retain the majority of last seasons squad after being relegated and it’s certainly paying dividends. 5 of their last 6 have seen over 2.5 goals and they’ll fancy their chances of collecting another three points.

This should be a cracking game and I’m expecting both sides to get in on the action

    Back Over 2.5 Goals 19/25
    (Marathonbet) (NAP)

    Hibernian v Kilmarnock (7pm)

It’s been far from a good start by Neil Lennon’s Hibernian after collecting just 5 points from their opening 4 games and after a really poor 2-1 defeat at Livingston last time out, they’ll be looking to get their season back on track.

They’ll be pleased to be back at home and they have turned Easter Road into somewhat of a fortress – they’ve won 8 and drawn three of their last 11 matches at home in the league (including wins over Celtic Hearts and Aberdeen) and they have the quality and firepower to get back to winning ways.

This won’t be an easy game – Kilmarnock are a well organised outfit and Steve Clarke has done a fantastic job turning them from relegation candidates to a side who can challenge for a top 6 place but with home advantage for Hibs and a stronger team, I’m taking the Hibs to edge this at a good price

    Back Hibernian to win
    11/10 (Marathonbet)

  3. nathanufton 8 months ago

My first toe dip back into betting was a mixed outcome. Volendum drew 0-0 with Top Oss – that sunk my double, but FC Twente did win 2 nil away last night. I’m hoping to be back in the saddle with my Rothrham/Derby preview. It IS going to be done but I’ve slept in a little longer than I hoped, so i’ll be posting as soon as I’ve woken properly and had the mandatory 2 cups of tea and several smokes. It will be in the admins pile before most of you wake up.

As a Liverpool fan, I love the super single, but surely Utd have enough quality to win or draw. I’m on Utd win at evens. Sanchez and Lukaku should have enough to run riot against Watford…from is temporary and all that.
Also, F/H Bayern, Lincoln, Clyde, Leeds all singles
.Over 2.5mgs Chelsea, Bournemouth and City.
Main bet is in Japan. Grampus Eight win @1.67 v Nagasaki.

    Morning gents,

It’s feast or famine with this week’s football cards and today certainly sees the former with masses to choose from – I’m sticking with a game from the lower leagues and also a UK goals longshot!

It’s been a crazy few weeks for Billericay fans; manager sacked via text during game by bonkers owner Glen Tamplin before putting the club up for sale and all sorts of other shenanigans centring around Tamplin’s running of the club.

That said, the players aren’t letting that phase them – their solid form continues and a 2nd place position sees them still well in the title race.

Dartford were expected to be right up there after a close run promotion fail lat year but whichever way I look at it, it’s been far from successful with just 11 points after 9 and 3 back to back away defeats.

Prices just look too big for Billericay here and I assume the ‘troubles’ around them are affecting the prices – whilst I understand that, it’s clear to see that it aint affecting the squad who probably half-expected it with loose cannon Tamplin in charge – Assistant gaffer Danny Hazle even alluded to this in a local interview stating “they are very good players – really, what goes on in the background doesn’t affect them.”

With the hosts welcoming back Grenadan striker Ricky Modeste from international duty, and the fact they have netted 7 team goals in their last two at home I just can’t help but think the bookies have this one wrong:

    OVER 2.5 MGS 10-FOLD…168/1

Best of luck with all bets ?

Weakest United team in years,Watford unbeaten and confidence high after beating Spurs from behind (which yernited couldn’t manage.Watford all day long for me best of Luck Sean Ireland.(i think you said the same thing when i tipped Spurs to beat them -1.5 asian handicap)more doom and gloom for this poor United side.

    • sean ireland 8 months ago

Poor team so far yes but you back a dog into a corner it comes back snapping and snarling,United just may kick on from here, they are too BIG to spend a couple of decade’s in the wilderness unlike Liverpool and their long suffering fans who always start predicting multiple titles and champions leagues when on a winning streak of 2+ games.

    • alex_mufc83 8 months ago

For me, Both teams to score is the best pick for this game. 4/5 decent odds.

      Lukaku & Deeney to score.

    • maccathered 8 months ago

Man utd are going to be in the wilderness for some time old bean,no major signings this summer means you are going to be another full season at least in transition,so for me unless you strengthen significantly next summer then another three years minimum before they could even consider themselves challengers.

I’m trying to convince myself destroyers will score but it’s a remote chance on form

  70. warktheline 8 months ago

@mr F, followed your Edinburgh tip ( single ) following on from their top notch win at Peterhead! 11/10. Cheers ?

  71. HullShaker 8 months ago

Parsley – don’t know sir but Bolivar aren’t the force they once were in La Paz and Destroyers could well grab one…they did back in April! Good luck.

    • elvis parsley 8 months ago

Destroyers 10-11 to net or 10-11 btts. No brainer if I can convince myself, why price btts same as team goal don’t make sense.

Royal pari are 1-100 to win.
Are potosi that bad ?, They are 50-1 to win or 17-20 +4 handicap.
Like bury playing ramsbottom aye shaker.

      I’m going after a destroyers goal, at 10-11, can’t resist ?️?️

It was 5/2 when I placed bet,now 2/1 so odds fluctuating, only a 2point stake, when away sides offered price to score at those odds I find it hard to resist, didn’t post yesterday but took chaves to score away at half time away to Porto@11/4,they will get mullard no doubt just see if they can get a consolation goal

Watford to win lost, unlucky really Man Utd holding on all the second half,if anything good came from it is the matic red card, joy on the over 2.5 goals but thats about it on that game.
    Well done all winners

over all maccathered ya didn’t do very well today did ya ,and ya it was a great day in the premiership ,united might have hung on in the second half ,still a good win against a inform team ,again i wasn’t impressed with liverpools performance ,spurs should have had a penalty in the end ,christmas will tell who will be fighting for the title ,on liverpools performance to date i dont think they will be the ones fighting it out, united should have been out of sight in the first half if they had of taken there chances

    • maccathered 8 months ago

Liverpool should of had six or seven, still won comfortable infact they were that comfortable it was to easy.Playing away at Wembley also,i didn’t see yernited beat Spurs at home, you can count United out the title race they will never get close this season they haven’t got enough quality to win it.

The Night Owl sees me heading over to Brasil for a shot at redemption and I’m hoping after a poor show that it’s all systems go-go-go!

Two of Serie B’s form sides meet head to head here and I’m taking both to find the back of the net.

In a period of 26 months, there have been 8 H2H’s; 5 of these have seen both teams scoring with 100% of these 5 games seeing at least 3 goals to boot.

5 of the hosts last 7 have seen ‘overs’ whilst the same amount of Go’s away games have seen them net – could be more on the menu tonight:

    BTTS & OVERS…7/5

    Best of luck ?

Looking at a second Night Owl in Paraguay and maybe some value on the away team here…

Quick post as I watch MOTD with Utd and their ‘sh*t I’ve put a red shirt in with the whites’ kit ?

Santani may not be tge best side but they do find a goal in the majority of games – I’m not at all convinced with Guatani’s form or tgeir ability to keep the sheets clean.

Not only have the hosts conceded in 100% of their last 9 games but Santani have netted in 5 of the last 6 H2H’s between the two.

    Two selections:

    BTTS 1ST HALF…9/2

    Best of luck ?

Haven’t posted in many a month but been banking some lovely profit thanks to the regulars.

Normally have a tip or two for down under in the A League here in Oz but few weeks to go before kick off.

Heading to the states this morning for a northern hemisphere night owl but a Aussie early bird.
    Over 2.5mgs treble pays $2.93

    Salt Lake v Minnesota
    Vancouver v seattle
    Toronto v galaxy

Toronto v galaxy match- last 5 H2H with galaxy have produced over 2.5 goals on 4 occasions with toronto contending 11 in last 5 and galaxy conceding 16 in last 5 so defences a tad shonky to say the least.

Salt lake have scored 6 goals in the both of their last two matches home and away. Nuff said.

Vancouver v Seattle. These teams have seen 38 goals combined in last 10 matches although the head to head puts some doubt as only 1 has gone overs. However I’m willing to take a chance that this will see both teams score and go over 2.5

    Good luck
