LAST night's games went to plan with both teams scoring at Wolves and Tranmere.
As expected Wolves gave the champions-elect a tough test but as they always do these days Liverpool got the job done in the end.
Nigel Pearson made 11 changes to his Wolves team so probably a surprise they even took it to extra time before losing and Tranmere now have a home meeting with Man United on Sunday.
I was going to do a both to score double but added Northampton v Derby in to make it a treble so hopefully that lands tonight. It can be covered if you like but I'm letting it run with Derby having kept one clean sheet in 14 away and Northampton netting 10 in three.
Well done to all the winners on Thursday including kevinmac who tipped Andy Robertson to be booked at 5-1 and advised an Adama Traore assist without having a price.
As well as the Northampton tie on Friday we have QPR v Sheffield Wednesday and that looks an overs game with possibly a home win. And in League One I like revitalised Sunderland at home to Doncaster.
There could be value in Dundee at Dunfermline in the Scottish Championship and there are some decent games to look at on the Continent including Brescia v AC Milan. Nice v Rennes and Dortmund v Cologne.
My focus for now is on the weekend card but I've picked out a Top Treble and apologies for lack of reasoning.
I'm on, like everyone else, goals at Dortmund with their last six totalling 29 goals. Add Dundee not to lose at a Dunfermline who have been beaten five in a row and back QPR not to lose at home in the Cup. This is obviously needing Rangers to field a strong side.

What I will say is al duhail lost their manager (despite being top and unbeaten in the league) and despite bringing in players from juventus confidence can’t be too high after taking a 4-0 battering in last weeks cup final. It’s an iffy one.
