SOMETIMES you can research bets for hours and on other occasions you can spend minutes and land a winner.
That's how it panned out for me last night my European goals fourfold landing with ease at 3-1.
With cup games involved stats can go out the window and to be fair the only games on my radar were the ones I picked at Barcelona, Hamburg, Mirandes and of course Nice.
In the end all four matches went over 2.5 with Lyon's last-gasp winner but I took two at 2.5 and two at 1.5 for less risk.
Well done to all the winners including Scott with another members bet – I think that's seven winners out of eight and he has another tip for tonight.
As always my focus is on Saturday's games and I've posted a Super Single shortlist.
I'm making a low stakes attempt at clearing the acca deficit on the final day of the month and taking Greg's French goals tips in a long-shot bid to wipe out the Super Singles losses.
There are two English Championship games – Cardiff v Reading and Derby v Stoke – as well as Partick Thistle v Ayr in the Scottish Championship which is tough to call.
On the Continent games include Hertha Berlin v Schalke and Rennes v Nantes as well as the usual lower-league games.
I don't have much time for research but taking Jurgen Klinsmann's improving Hertha Berlin not to lose as well as Stoke and Cardiff draw no bet. Finally back goals in the Le Havre and Rennes games – the latter seeing btts in six out of seven meetings.

Oz A league sees Top of the table Sydney take on much improved fowler the growler’s team Brisbane. Last time these two met was a 5-1 schillacking for the Roar. Can’t see any other result but barring the FFA cup the last few meetings have seen Sydney win and both teams to score. That is always a decent option in the A league.
some stats I had some time to research.
the last 4 A league meetings have seen 5,6,3 and 4 bookings at an average of 4.5. Tonight’s ref is Chris Beath who hands out cards at an average of…..you guessed it…4.5 per game.
surprisingly Brisbane do have the upper hand on corner counts but the last 4 A league games have produced 38 corners between them. however, be aware that this has been decreasing from 15-11-7-5 so a bit of a pattern emerging in corners getting less frequent.
Sydney have scored more than 1.5 goals in those 4 games whilst Brisbane have scored only 1 per game except for 8th February last year where Roar won 2-1. this suggests a BTTS and over bet as Sydney you would think have to lose at some point. Sydney and BTTS is also in play.
Le Fondre has 14 goals in 14 matches and has scored 6 goals in last 4 matches against the roar.

Yes the roar are on a current 5 game unbeaten run but they are miles behind Sydney quality wise man for man, and just looking at results doesn’t paint the full picture because although they are unbeaten they have been absolutely awful the past couple of games especially last week. On paper it should be 2 easy home wins for benefits and alkmaar and the should score a few goals in the process.
