BRISTOL CITY did me proud by bringing up the Super Single and keeping the Betting Club run alive but elsewhere I was beaten up.
City to win -1 was the SS at 7-5 and just to win for the Betting Club but I was a goal short on the over 2.5 goals treble and it was two out of three on the both to score treble. Monaco's surprise home defeat to Porto downed the Top Treble so I'll try to do better on Wednesday.
Desmond had better luck with his both to score double winning while Greg was star of the show with a full of house of winners and he's in red-hot form at the moment.
I've posted a separate Champions League preview and post on Anderlecht v Celtic and my Top Treble and Lionel Messi/Barca Super Single is reasoned there. I've added a point to the Top Treble to make it 3pts.
As well as another eight CL ties including PSG v Bayern and Atletico Madrid v Chelsea we have Birmingham v Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United v Wolves in the Championship.
One of the best displays of the weekend came from United who won 4-2 at Wednesday in a thrilling Steel derby. The Blades haven't been as good at as that in any game this season but put more into it against their fiercest rivals.
While they'll tahe confidence from the result and performance I don't see them beating Wolves at home. Wolves have lost in one nine league games and will join Cardiff at the top with a win. They could pick up the points but I'm going Wolves draw no bet.

I would be amazed if Athletico Madrid beat Chelsea.Chelsea are stronger than Madrid in my humble opinion the 3/1 for the away win tempts but i’m sticking with double chance keeping the draw onside.
Just seen this Macca – see below. I’m not sure I see Chelsea winning the game, even if they produce a brilliant counter-attacking performance. They will likely surrender possession and look for a point before worrying about getting three. Catching out Simeone’s Atletico on the break will be no mean feat though, as their tremendous home record under him over the years suggests.
Chelsea winning tonight, even despite Atletico heading to a new stadium (which I don’t believe makes any difference), would be a huge result for them. I’m just not sure I see it happening – but wouldn’t mind seeing an English side prove me wrong.
