IT was back to the good old days of Old Firm thrillers even if much of the excitement came from defensive blunders.

My Daily Double won at evens thanks to Juventus -1AH and Atletico Madrid to score 2+ but it was two out of three on the btts treble.

Monday's big game is Stoke v Man City who should edge closer to the championship even without the injured Sergio Aguero. They have a chance to go 16 points clear of Man United with eight games to go and my feeling they'll win by two but Stoke have improved and will be trying to keep it tight.
Alaves face Betis in Spain and in Germany it's Werder Bremen v Cologne while there is a full Jupiler league card.
Greg's posted a members goals bet from Holland and he and Jordan are on the same wavelength.
My only bet today is a team to score treble. Start with Chaves to net at home to Sporting. Chaves are sitting pretty in sixth place and should give Sporting a good game.
They usually score at home and their last two against Sporting have finished 1-0 and 2-2 while they lost 5-1 in Lisbon earlier in the season.
Alaves have netted in their last 13 at home and should fin the net against Betis who have lost seven away and conceded 24.
Complete the treble with Cologne to net at Werder Bremen. Cologne's last six have seen both scoring with 11 coming from themselves and they've scored on five out of six visits to Bremen.

They have however remained strong on home soil which can only spell trouble for bottom of the table minnows Helsingor who have only claimed one win on there travels and a mere 5 points away from home in 12 away games across the season conceding an average of over 2.3 goals a game in those. Copenhagen have been dispatching teams well on there home patch especially those in the bottom half of the table netting 22 goals in 6 home games at an average of over 3.6 goals a game. Helsingor have recently conceded 6 away at Brondby and OB, a mid table team that Copenhagen claimed a narrow 1-0 win over in there last fixture. The reverse fixture finished 4-0 to Copenhagen and they had that game over and done with by halftime, hopefully replicate the same again. This should be a very one sided affair and surely just a question of how many goals Copenhagen can muster up, I heavily fancy the chances of at least 3.

After United’s 0-0 in Spain, I knew we were going to be in trouble in the reverse leg. I don’t know how Sevilla won’t score here. They battered us for 90 minutes with a wonder show from De Gea, and they know an away goal will really shake this tie up. United were unlucky not to have scored three in the first half on Saturday (even Macca knows it) but other than that, Liverpool dominated in stats. Have to disagree with u there Jordan, United have been fantastic at home this season winning 17/20 competative games losing just 1 including wins over Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs.United will not lose this one.United also won all 3 champs lg home games whilst Sevilla won no away group games drawing against the mighty maribor and getting thumped 5-1 by Spartak Moscow. In six meetings this season against top-four opposition in La Liga, they’ve been beaten every time, scoring just three goals and conceding 20.
