IT'S been a quiet few days but that all changes on Thursday as nations try to complete their Road to Russia.
I've posted separate previews of Scotland v Slovakia and England v Slovenia with England set to seal their place in the finals and the Scots needing a win to keep their play-off hopes alive.
Without skipper Scott Brown and fellow Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong it's difficult task for the Scots against a decent side but I expect England to win their 14th home qualifier in a row.
My Super Single in the Record is Slovakia draw no bet and with the price rising to 6-4 I've decided to pick it on the site as well. Check out my preview for reasoning – but for once I hope the SS loses!
Other games include Northern Ireland v Germany, Montenegro v Denmark and San Marino v Norway and later it's Bolivia v Brazil and Venezuela v Uruguay in South America. If I get time I'll put a preview of some other games.
Finding value isn't easy and my only other bets is a treble – Germany and over 1.5 match goals, both to score in the big game between Montenegro and Denmark and … England to score 2+. I've put a post covering that and some other games.
For the Betting Club £10 to £1000 challenge I've picked England to score at 1-10 and that edges me over the target. As I've said already anyone on this should consider taking the money and running instead of risking a 1-10 bet.
The reason I'm continuing is we've set a challenge and would like to complete it – and at the end of the day the £1000 will be shared with members or given away in a contest so personally speaking I don't have anything to lose but I'll be gutted if I fall at the final hurdle.

Hi gents. Looking past the World Cup qualifiers and hoping I’ve found some value in the Euro U21 games. Norway head to Ireland where the Irish lads top the group after with two wins from two. Norway have had two defeats in which they conceded 3 goals in each against Kosovo, who the Irish beat at home. While this is risky, the U21 games usually see goals as the talent is there, but the experience isn’t. Hopefully form continues for both sides.

Back after a few quiet days and two international sides stick out like a sore thumb in regards to one particular market. I’m never a fan of backing unders, but I’m making an exception here.
England rarely demolish sides – even failing to do so against the minnows. You have to go back to the World Cup qualifying campaign of 2012/13 to find the last time England beat a side not named San Marino in a game that saw 5+ goals (4-1 v Montenegro). Only Lithuania and Malta last month (thanks to late goals) have conceded 4 against England in the last 4 years if we disregard those results against San Marino.
England should win this and finish off their road to Russia but I don’t fancy them to do so in emphatic fashion given Slovenia have conceded just 4 goals in their qualifying campaign.
Similar sentiments lie with Germany. Top spot hasn’t been clinched yet, so this game still holds importance for them. They visit Northern Ireland – NI have only conceded to Germany in this entire campaign. That 2-0 victory in Germany was no walk in the park for the Germans and I don’t fancy them to blow NI away again tonight, either.
In fact, at Euro 2016 the two sides met and, again, Germany struggled to break down the green wall. That game finished just 1-0. With second place confirmed, I fancy Michael O’Neill to view this as the perfect test of his defense ahead of their inevitable playoff tie.
Germany should still have enough to win it, so I’m on the following.

Massive game in Montenegro tonight and after Denmark smashed 8 in two qualifiers last month, I do think goals has a chance. However, even despite Eriksen’s form, their demolition of Poland and the importance of the fixture, I still think Montenegro are overpriced on their own turf. They have scored in every qualifier and put a couple of the weaker sides to the sword earlier on in the campaign. Last year, Montenegro beat Denmark away from home in the reverse.
Denmark aren’t convincing on their travels and only kept a clean sheet away in Romania, who have been rather goal shy.
I think Montenegro can score, so to bulk up the price:
