IT was a night of many shocks but let's all bow down to Jordan who tipped three winners on the Man United v Sevilla game.
Some people ridiculed his tips but being a Man Utd fan he wouldn't have put them up lightly and says he was just following the money.
I watched the game in the golf club in the company of Mr Belhaven and we both thought United were poor and it was thoroughly deserved win by the Spanish. Jordan's tips were Sevilla to score, Sevilla not to lose and Sevilla to qualify with the final one paying 2-1.
Greg's nap Clyde also won and we both talked about David Goodwillie's scoring record. I looked at his first scorer price for a potential Super Single but it was just 8-11 so I left it. He was 15-4 to net first and Greg obviously hasn't been reading Damian Walker's tips because he didn't think anyone took first-scorer bets on these matches.

Clyde not to lose were part of my disastrous Top Treble that included Aston Villa and Peterhead. Both suffered shock defeats which are difficult to explain.
My only consolation was a member bet win at evens to maintain my 100 per cent record this month. Next up will be Ace Venturer with a golf twoball.
Luckily I had a few winners at Cheltenham yesterday because Bury beat my both to score treble while my Super Single was void as Killie drew with Aberdeen. Ironically they netted just six minutes into extra time then conceded and lost on penalties so the Dons face Motherwell in the Scottish Cup semi-finals.
With Man United out it looks like Man City and Liverpool will be England's only teams in the last eight of the Champions League.
Barcelona should KO Chelsea tonight even though the Stamford Bridge men played well in the first leg before crucially gifting Barcelona an equaliser and from 1-1 the Spanish superstars should cruise through.
I've posted a separate preview and only give a cursory glance to the other game with Bayern Munich taking a 5-0 lead to Besiktas.
Elsewhere there are a couple of early games on the Continent with Juventus at home to Atalanta in Serie A (5pm) and PSG tackling Angers (4pm) in Ligue 1. Should be two homes but PSG are no bigger than 1-11 so take a double on Juventus and Barcelona at 11-10 with Marathonbet and William Hill.
Juve have won eight in a row at home to Atalanta while PSG beat Angers 5-0 away earlier in the season. To get some value on them you have to go with -2 at 7-10 with Ladbrokes.
The only game in England is in League One with Wigan travelling to Bradford. Should be an away win at 10-11 with Marathonbet.
On Tuesday I posted a Super Single for Wednesday which was Ayr to win at Arbroath. Ayr have won their last three 3-0 after losing 6-1 to Rangers. Interesting the sides have met four times this season with Ayr winning both 4-1 at Gayfield while losing 2-1 twice at home. Hopefully the pattern continues and they'll be keen to take advantage of Raith's slip-up at Forfar last night.

They are very unlucky not to be taking a lead to the camp nou and but for a defencive mistake and the width of the post twice could have been in a very strong position
I thought they got their tactics spot on and with similar tactics tonight can frustrate Barca.
