TUESDAY'S card looked so simple and who would have thought both Man City and Man United would have slipped up.
It's incredible to think Man City went down 2-1 at Newcastle after netting in 25 seconds while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's winning run ended at eight and I suppose he'll be happy with a draw after being 2-0 down late on at home to Burnley.
Those results will have beaten hundreds of thousands of slips and certainly downed my Top Treble.
City boss Pep Guardiola is right to say the title race isn't over but Liverpool will be short favourites if they beat Leicester tonight to extend their lead at the top to seven.
Other Premier League games tonight are Bournemouth v Chelsea, Spurs v Watford and Southampton v Crystal Palace.
In the Scottish Cup Rangers travel to League Two Cowdenbeath – and I've posted a preview – while Celtic aim to pull six points clear of Rangers at the top of the Premiership by beating St Johnstone.
Last night I got some revenge for Aberdeen drawing with Stenny with my two tips on the replay winning at 8-15 and 7-5 but I haven't yet forgiven the Dons. Also what Stephen Dobbie hitting a hat-trick for QoS to knock out Dundee and set up a trip to Pittodrie.

Next take Spurs v Watford and I agree with maccathered this could be tough and for the home men. They drew 2-2 at Wembley in September and beat Spurs 2-1 at home so btts looks the way to go.
Complete the treble with Southampton v Crystal Palace. Saints' last four have brought up btts as have four of meetings with Palace at St Mary's. Roy Hodgson's visitors followed up that thrilling loss at Anfield by beating a weakened Spurs 2-0 in the FA Cup and have scored in all of their recent matches.
I can't recover the Super Singles this month but I'll risk 1pt on James Tavernier scoring first for Rangers at Cowenbeath. As I said in my preview there is every chance of a penalty and he's the taker.
As I said earlier if I did a Top Treble it would include Rangers -2 and I'm adding over 2.5 goals in the Spanish Cup as Barcelona take on Sevilla trying to overturn a 2-0 deficit. I assume Lionel Messi will start as they give this a good go.
Complete with over 2.5 goals in the Italian Cup as Atalanta welcome Juventus. The sides drew 2-2 in Bergamo a few weeks ago in Serie A and five of Atalanta's last six games have gone over 3.5 goals.

I’m restarting today with a fresh £10. I do like the look of Liverpool, knowing City have already played, I think that potential for an extra 3 pts tonight which ultimately might be the deciding match for who is crowned champions.
I also like the look at Real Betis at home to Espanyol in the Copa Del Rey – 1st leg. Its the 1/4 final over 2 legs and the Espanyol have lost 6 in 7 in all competitions on the road. The final will be played I believe at Real Betis’s home ground. I placed a bet last night with 365. A quad of over 1.5 tgls. Barnsley,Swansea,billeracy and st pauli. £10 stake,£236 returns. I had been keeping an eye on the scores through the night and checked again just after Barnsley scored their 2nd. I knew I was only waiting on st pauli and Barnsley although st pauli kicked off earlier. After the Barnsley goal the bet showed as a winner and right enough, £236 in returned. I assumed st pauli got the second late on. I withdrew this onto the 365 MasterCard and thought no more until I looked and my account said -£236. Turns out st pauli didn’t score a second goal after all! I left the money on the MasterCard and went to bed and then this morning I received an email regarding it:

Placed a bet earlier in the week on Rangers -2 8/11, the price has shortened.
Was going to be my only bet after Man Utd last night but i think there is a pricing error with William Hill YourOdds, Defoe to score, Rangers to win to nil, over 1 Cowdenbeath card, 9/2. Compared it to bet365 bet builder and it was 21/10.
Got some value, as long as hills don’t change their tune.
