IT was a quiet Thursday and after a busy Wednesday it felt strange to have no bets and not check live score once.
From the comments I see there were a few winners including HullShaker who needed two late goals in Iceland to land his over 3.5 match goals at 6-4. Well done everyone.
Friday's card is decent with a few big games including Hibs vs Rangers, Hoffenheim vs Dortmund and Fiorentina vs Roma.
As usual my focus is on Saturday's games but I've posted a Hibs vs Rangers match preview and from that I've taken Rangers and both to score as a Super Single. Greg also has thoughts on this game and kevinmac has posted a preview too.
I spent more time on my Daily Record columns than I hoped but have finished now and picked out a both to score treble with a little help from HullShaker who has suggested goals at TNS.

Funny result in Maldives league earlier Da Grande went into their game against TC Sports as underdogs but were 2-0 up and their opponents down to 10 men by half time. TC Sports then score 3 goals in the space of 10 mins starting on the hour mark. It then stays at that score for the rest of the game TC Sports winning 3-2. You could get them at 100/1 at half time. I put a fiver on when they’d got one back and they seemed to have all the momentum at 50/1. I cashed out when it hit 3-2 for a nice profit. My point is that while anything can happen in football this sort of thing looks suspicious and might be worth keeping an eye on this league in play for opportunities.

Would be interested to read opinions on premier league top 4 finish. Had a ver speculative punt at odds of 70/1 on 1st Liverpool 2nd Spurs.
Would have preferred a top 4 forecast of Liverpool, Leicester, Spurs, City but couldn’t find anyone offering it.
Currently 13 points between Leicester and Spurs but the Jose factor (win no matter how cynical),the fact he has a window to tighten up his defence and the fact that Spurs have shown the capability in previous seasons to go on long unbeaten runs (usually winning late on).

I think Leicester look more solid then City Macca.
They also have less distractions (no Europe).
Spurs, I feel could also finish above City (but the odds of 70/1 reflect the task in hand. The players seem to have really bought into Mourinho, while psychologically I think City know they ain’t gonna catch Liverpool and they don’t have much chance of winning the Champions League. It’s always a mystery to me why they always get made favourites.
Anyway, we should have a better idea in a month’s time as there are some really juicy fixtures coming up.
