Top Football Tips

IT'S all about Spurs v Man United on Sunday as we find out if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's improving team can handle the heat of facing a top side.

I've posted a separate preview and really fancy goals in the 4.30pm kick-off. The earlier game is Everton v Bournemouth and again there is a potential for goals and that's tipped by on-form Scott in his preview.

Elsewhere the focus is on Italy, Spain and France and not much else. Games include Barcelona v Eibar and Real Betis v Real Madrid as well as Napoli v Sassuolo in the Italian Cup. There are German Cup games and mr orange and Greg have put some thoughts on the Dutch lower-league games.

It was a wipe-out for me on another difficult card on Saturday with both my trebles producing two out of three and three out of five on the moneyback acca – the long shot moneyback acca on the VIP tips was a goal away from a 68-1 win. Sunderland were the Super Single and they led Luton for a long time before being pegged back.

Well done to all the winners including Greg, Desmond and Scott.

Today I'm not doing much but taking btts at Spurs and adding the games Bilbao and Toulouse for a treble. Bilbao lost 3-1 at home to Sevilla in the cup in midweek but rested players. They have won six out of seven at home to Sevilla in the league and scored in all seven.

Sevilla will be confident of picking up the points and I can't see them not scoring.

My third pick came down to Everton v Bournemouth, Nantes v Rennes or Toulouse v Strasbourg and I'm going with Toulouse. It was 2-2 last season and 1-1 in Strasbourg when the sides met earlier in the campaign.

Both have scored in four of Toulouse's last five and in five of Strasbourg's previous six.

For the Top Treble start with on-fire Rennes, unbeaten in seven, to avoid defeat at Nantes and add Greg's Everton who he says should beat a Bournemouth side without Callum Wilson and Josh King up top.

Complete the treble with Barcelona to beat Eibar and three or more match goals scored. In eight meetings at the Nou Camp the aggregate score is 28-4.

I'm putting up an early Super Single for the Australian Open tennis on Monday morning. Andy Murray could be playing his final match as he contemplates retiring with a hip injury that's left him suffering from chronic pain.

The former world No.1 would love to bow at Wimbledon but that looks unlikely and he admits he'll probably lose his first-round match to Roberto Bautista-Agut. The world No.23 beat Novak Djokovic last week while Murray could take just two games off the Serb in a practise match lasting one hour.

It's sad to see Murray end a glittering career in this way but I can't see any way he can win. In fact it will almost be a miracle if he takes a set and can only happen if his rival shows pity.

Not surprisingly the price on Bautista-Agut is dropping but you can still back him to win 3-0 at at 13-11 with Marathonbet. That's a Super Single for me and I'm almost covering the stake with 3-1 just in case Murray manages a set – any other result would be astonishing when you consider the pain he's in just tying his shoelaces.

Remember to look at welovebetting for their tips and video chat.

Was going to post United draw no bet myself Mr F so it’s good to see you’re on the same. Spurs are the bookies favourites but I think this game is far more evenly poised, could go either way with goals expected from both sides and vulnerable defences, but I think United might nick a result here. Spurs may well do another bottle job.

I’m also on United draw no bet – 6/4

    And the following;

    –Double–
    Spurs v United – BTTS
    Everton v Bournemouth – BTTS
    6/4

Leaving the first game in oz alone and just focusing on the second, Sydney should win but they are in no sort of form where you could say it with confidence. However the same cannot be said about Perth glory. This seasons table toppers are flying high and as per usual for the top side in oz, scoring plenty (11 in the last 3 games). Looked long and hard at various bets for this game (btts/overs, Perth tgs, Perth goal time etc) but one has stood out- Perth win/over 2.5mgs. I reckon we will see them net at least 2, with a decent chance of 3 as well with the form they are in, and this bet keeps a wsw goal onside too. For those that have followed me on cards in oz this week, these 2 are mid table in the fair play league, and while the prices do look fairly appealing for the usual markets I’m sticking with goals today.
    Suggested tips
    Perth win/o2.5mgs 5/4 bet 365
Perth glory to score a penalty 5/1 bet 365

To add to the thread from yesterday @micky belfast:

Yesterday was one of my best days so I don’t want this to sound condescending in anyway.

I can honestly say, in the last 12 months, I am in profit from bet 365, skybet and betway (betway stopped me getting any bonuses by limiting my bets to £4.23 each lol, I rarely use them anymore)

To me gambling has evolved, you need to take advantage of the free offers available, learn how to cover bets in the most profitable way. NEVER CASH OUT.

I used to be more reckless I suppose but now, given experience, I am far more cautious.

Take advantage of this site, there are a lot of excellent tipsters, different people with a superb specific insight into their own personal markets, leagues and countries.

At the end of the day gambling is a leisure activity, people pay £1000’s a year to go to the match, buy a season ticket, play golf, bingo, fishing, whatever. I love nothing more than taking my son to football every Saturday morning then sitting for a few hours deciding my bets for the day. I could spent £100 every Saturday sitting in the pub or going to watch my local team Newcastle – would rather stick pins in my eyes, lol

I prefer the higher stake accas etc and to me, yes it can be like a lottery, however ever season I have big winners, obviously not every week but its nice when it comes in. I had two or three 300-1 plus winners last year.

As they say, when the fun stops, stop. I will

@mickybelfast just saw your post from yesterday mate. Mr f called it spot on with betting only 10% per day or give yourself a weekly allowance & split into days. Some days you won’t bet much as not much games on & can roll it over for bet more maybe a Saturday. Everyone has different strategies. Couple of tips I have learned are

    -Don’t go chasing losses
-Cut back on in play bets
-Realise u can’t win every bet no matter how much you research as some games just don’t go as expected
-Stick to mainly singles & doubles
    -Low stakes on speculative punts
-If having a bad run (it happens to everyone) you can just stick to following regulars who won more than lose, If you think games may go over 2.5mgs then do 1.5mgs instead
-End of the day only spend what u can afford & try & enjoy the ride, Whether you bet £1 or &100

    Hope this helps

DC, very good points you’ve made above, one thing I never do is back a team to win I just stick mainly to goals on low stake accas but if I like a single I’ll up my stake for example I’ve made nice profit on harry Kane atgs bets over the last few years, I just try to be sensible with my bets no more no less. GL 🍀

    • Avatar of Crofty
      crofty 6 years ago

Jimba I agree with you on the not backing a team to win.

I generally do goals as it’s either over or under so only two outcomes rather than three with WDW markets.
The main bets I do are either over 1.5 team goals or over 1.5 goals. The over 1.5 team goals I usually do doubles and often it will come in despite a team losing or drawing.

The other thing I personally do is withdraw my betting bank down to the same level everyday. That way I get to enjoy any winnings and I don’t tend to do any silly bets that I used to when I was on a good run previously just because the money was sitting there and burning a hole in my pocket.
I’m no expert but having been on this site for a few years now I’ve listened and learnt to have more days without a bet than with if there’s nothing I fancy.
I know betting is something I personally do for fun and it will never be a way of making another income.

    Tottenham v Man Utd
    Tottenham to win at 11/10*****(NAP)
    Over 3.5 goals at 6/4
    Over 4.5 goals at 7/2
I’m actually looking forward to this contest and will be watching eagerly to see what the crack is with Man Utd and where they are at,they haven’t won at Tottenham for some time and i’m finding it difficult to see them winning there today.Man Utd come into this game in good form winning their last 5 games although you would say that is expected given the opposition they have faced and their aspirations to be a top four side.Under the new manager Ole Man Utd have had the shackles removed and are now a attacking team who score goals but the problem with them for me here is can they do both attack and defend at the same time in a big game against the likes of Harry Kane and Eriksen,im not so sure they can unless Ole has a plan. This will be Spurs last game with Son in the team as he heads of to play for his country, given the fact Spurs are at home and are in the title race i think taking them to win is a good bet, also the fact that both sides have scored 40 goals between them in their last 6 matches i think it makes sense to be on the goals markets also.
Best of luck all with bets on.

Such is life Micky, its the harshest of the 3 main addictions….gambling, alcohol and drugs. You can only drink so much and you’ll pass out, much the same with drugs but with gambling you can keep going until the well runs dry and then you’ll spend whatever the plastic allows or friends/family will lend you. These days I usually bet a £10 main bet and 2 x £5 longshots Fri/Sat/Sun and through the week it varies depending on the card. One of the hardest things for me too understand and adjust too was not having a punt at everything I fancied, I had too learn too shortlist and select the best options from many. Others are better placed and more informed to give you strategy tips

Just been reading back posts regarding Mickys request for help and his losses that are accumulating over time. I feel heart sorry for you fella, I’ve been there and done it on a scale that would make your eyes water pal. Between October 2008 & February 2010 I lost the the price of a small house….just under £70,000 too be precise. I didn’t just lose the money I lost my partner & kid, my house, my taxis and my livelihood but most of all I lost my sanity and ended up in psychiatric care.
It took me years too recover from it and now I’m in a better place I can gamble without the evil of chasing losses or feeding the urge of the buzz that gambling provides. My steps too a new gambling strategy was tough, going from stakes of upto £1,000 at a time and sometimes more then dropping it too £5 & £10 bets was hard. One of the biggest lessons I learned was not too judge bets on potential returns, a good man at gamblers anonymous gave me that wisdom……that punters will look at returns and deem it not enough so bigger odds and bigger risks are added which is a bookies dream punter. I’ve learnt that Rome was indeed not built in a day but progress was made slowly but surely and in the end it was completed. Your change on betting strategy should mirror this in that you don’t have too win your riches in one day.
Like others have said have a bank and never exceed a certain percentage per day on stakes, whether it be 5% or 10% stick too it religiously. I also limited my online accounts and now I have 2 from a catalogue of accounts that at one point was out of control, on these 2 accounts the daily deposit limit is set too £10 & £20 respectively but the one improvement that gambling firms could make on that front is a limit of stakes also as after your deposit limit is reached you can still bet your account balance if its above your deposit limit. I’m no expert on the ins and outs of gambling and don’t have a strategy that will give me profit but I’ve changed my approach too gambling from chasing numbers too enjoying the fun aspect of it so in turn I no longer increase stakes on the next one if the last punt loses. Only you can decide if your gambling is for fun or too feed an addiction & profit(we all want profit but some chase it harder than others). For the sake of your sanity and wellbeing I sincerely wish that you find an inner peace with your gambling and can stem those loses with a change of approach and attitude too gambling.

      Peace ✌️

If it helps @micky belfast , I only ever stake 1 – 5% of my betting bank on each bet and never, EVER go above that.
Normally stakes are around 2 – 3% of bank. Theoretically I can never wipe my bank out.

I always look for value on the cards and one that stands out for me is Man United most cards evens bet365. Man United are one of the worst disciplined teams in fair play table. In the top 2. Spurs on the other hand are surprisingly one of the better disciplined teams.
Skybet have this bet at 1.73, so evens at bet365 is value.

Really feel that Sevilla will get a result against an Athletic Bilbao team that they will play again in the copa del rey wednesday. They won the first leg 3-1 on Thursday.
An outright league win at 2.7/1 (bet365) or 1.45 dc look very good to me. Andre Siva (2.6/1) will also want to get on the scoresheet again.

Barcelona have Messi and co (suarez, pique, alba etc.) back after a shock loss to Levante in the cup. They will want to stuff Eibar at home and Suarez is 3.25 to score first.

    Good luck!

    Dutch Eerste Divisie – Sunday

    Telstar v Helmond

Telstar only won 1 of their last 6 games and only won 1 of their last 5 home games. Telstar scored 22 goals and conceded 33 goals this season. 18 of these goals 22 were scored in the first 12 games of the season. Telstar had a couple of youngsters on loan who were really good at the beginning of the season, but it looks like none of them will star in the second half of the season. Striker Lescano has gone back to Parma, striker Seager will go back to Southampton and midfielder Kyle Scott is already back at Chelsea. That last player was really loved by the fans and they saw him as their best player. Due to an argument with the manager he is back in London now. It looks like these players were very important for this Telstar team in the beginning of the season.

Helmond Sport collected 7 points from their last 4 games. They only had 6 points before that 4 games. Helmond scored 20 goals in 19 and conceded 31. The big difference with Telstar is that Helmond drew 7 games (Telstar drew 1). Helmond will have most of their injured players back after the short winter break and I think they are too low in the table. I think the odds for this game are just wrong, Telstar should never be a 1.60 shot and I wouldn’t recommend to put money on that. Telstar were odds-on on two occasions this season. They were 1.48 when they beat Jong Utrecht who were bottom at the time and they were 1.80 in the cup game at AFC which they lost 5-0. I am not going to say Helmond will win this game, but at the prices you can have them on side with a win, a draw or get your stake back with a small loss. Telstar have won only 1 of their last 15 games by more than 1 goal.

Helmond Sport +1 asian handicap is the bet @ 1.82 with 188 (shortened to 1.73)

    Jong Utrecht – Jong AZ

I can’t find my write anymore. Jong AZ only won 1 game this season, their topscorer has gone to NEC and most of the squad are still in Turkey and will be too late to play on Sunday. Utrecht could have first team striker Venema in the squad.

Jong Utrecht +0.25 asian handicap @ 1.70 with unibet (shortened to 1.62)

    Jong Ajax v Jong PSV

Both Ajax and PSV are on training camps during the winter break. The Ajax squad is in Florida and PSV squad are in Qatar. Both clubs will come back on Saturday, so I can’t see any of the youngsters play the Sunday game in the Eerste Divisie. Both teams will miss a lot of players (and their best) for this game.

Ajax will miss: Schuurs (14 games), Bakker (13), Eiting (3), Cerny (12), De Wit (12), Ekkelenkamp (11), Gravenberch (12), Jensen (7), Lang (10).

PSV wil miss: Aboukhlal (9 games), Gakpo (10), Obispo (9), Piroe (13), Ramselaar (3), Sadilek (4), Teze (13), Verreth (16).

The bookies have all these players in their goalscorer market, which brings value for others. I like the price of attacking midfielder Lundqvist of Jong PSV to score. He scored 7 for Jong PSV this season and 5 in his last 10. He is also on penalties and with so many players missing I think we will see a high scoring game like we see in many youth games. He will be one of the best players on the pitch.

Lundqvist (Jong PSV) to score anytime @ 4.20 with unibet or 10bet

I’ve looked at the Sunday card and it looks tough and hard to call some games. These are my Sunday Accumulator Picks:

    ● Man Utd to score
For me its tough game to call today. Everyone has said its Ole’s first test as a manager and his tactical knowledge. I think its the first game that United will play with less possession than their opponents under Ole. How they handle that will probably determine the outcome. United win can put them level with Arsenal as they lost to West Ham yesterday. I think this could be Tottenham’s first draw in the league. 1/4 for Man Utd to score is a decent price for accumulator purposes.

    ● Panathinaikos to Win (Greece)
A win against Xanthi can put them back in European places. Xanthi are struggling to score goals. Xanthi are winless in last 7 games and have only scored once in those games! 11 goals in 14 games is very poor.

    ● Den Bosch are Boss (Holland)
Dutch 2nd division leaders play bottom feeder Dordrecht (2nd bottom) It looks like a mismatch but I’ve probably seen more shock results in this league more often than any other leagues. If anything they wont lose. Den Bosch double chance pays 2/5 but I’ve gone for Draw no Bet @ 4/6

    ● Bilbao v Sevilla (Again?)
Yes these two only played few days ago in Copa Del Rey first leg and Bilbao were beaten 3-1 at home. I posted my Sevilla draw no bet for that game and pointed Bilbao wouldnt risk league status for cup. Bilbao’s striker Aduriz was subbed off at HT with an injury and is questionable. Bilbao would prefer to win this game than the second leg of cup game. Sevilla are missing Nolito as he was star in last game with a goal and 2 assists. Franco Vazquez will also miss this game. I think its still a very tough game to call but I reckon Bilbao wont lose this one. Bilbao doule chance 12/25 is good price for Accumulator.

    ● Saprissa to Win (Costa Rica)
Anyone who follows this league should know that Saprissa are one of the top clubs and always fighting for league titles. Costa Rican division have 2 league winners every season with 1st and 2nd half of season and separate winners. Saprissa obviously fought with Herediano for the first half and lost over 2 legs (after Extra Time). Saprissa should start 2nd half of season with a win over Limon FC that has come away from Saprissa ground empty handed in last 6 visits! Saprissa also unbeaten at Home in last 20 games with 14 Wins and 6 draws.

If you choose these 5 picks as it is, it should pay just over 5/1

    》Both to Score Treble《 3.12/1
    Everton v Bournemouth
    Marseille v Monaco
    Real Betis v Real Madrid

    Good Luck!

I see various people have given you advice mickey and it’s all good, and I’d like to offer another piece that I don’t think anyone has covered yet. If I was you, I’d forget about systems and betting banks etc for the moment and just take a break completely from it. I did that myself last year from may- November, not because I was losing money, but because it was affecting me mentally. I felt drained at being up 200 or 300 one week then slowly handing it back and feeling as if I should be posting tips, and I just lost all enjoyment from it. so I took a break, never thought about gambling (even tho there was a World Cup on and a new season starting) and just kept away from it for a time until I felt mentally refreshed. It did me the world of good and I now know that I can do that anytime I like having done it then. Doesn’t have to be 6 months like me, just until you feel your ready again. Then when you are, look at the above advice.

    • Avatar of Sean Campbell
      sean567 6 years ago

If you don’t feel as if you can take a break, then having a word with a professional might be helpful. Not so that you have to stop gambling completely, but just so you can get a better handle on it. I hope this is of some use to you mate and that something changes for you soon. Best of luck buddy

    • Avatar of Sean Campbell
      sean567 6 years ago

What I will add to my post above mickey is if you like in plays etc then a betting bank probably isn’t a good idea, because there’s always money there for another bet. I used to have one and then ditched it for that reason. I get paid weekly, so now I pay everything that needs paid, put a wee bit aside for family stuff and savings, then just use the rest of the cash I have how I want it wether it be for gambling or anything. When I win, I always put back what I’ve taken out my bank originally and a wee bit more, and when I lose I lose and that’s it.

    Afternoon gents,

The 2-3 week spell around the New Year is always a lean period for anyone who follows the South American and overseas games but the break is nearly over and as the ‘Clausura’ campaigns kick back in, salvation arrives in the form of a full Costa Rican card – certainly one of the better leagues for goal-backers…

PÉREZ ZELEDÓN VS. CARMELITA (1930 KO):

I’m focussing in on this fixture as it has been one of the most consistent to back in recent years; within the last 5 years, there have been 21 H2H’s of which 16 have seen both sides scoring with a further 11 seeing btts and overs land.

Carmelita were shocking in their Apertura campaign and won just 1 of their last dozen or so matches compared to Zeledon who lost just once in their final 8 games so it ought to go the way of the hosts but I can well see Carmelita offeringbup a sweetener at some time during the 90!

    Two selections to consider:

    BTTS & OVER 2.5 MGS…11/10
    (Bet365)
    🌟🌟🌟

    PEREZ ZELEDON OVER 2.5 TGS…9/4

Hello . I see some nice general advice about betting today and I’d like to add to it !
Maybe i cant say everything in a comment but lets start !

    1. I know it’s traditional in UK to use fractional odds but I think it’s the most confusing type of numbers . Decimal odds are more solid and easier for the brain to process.
    2. If betting ain’t successful for you, try picking only singles and leave out games you are not sure about .
    3. Best time to place a bet is near the start time of a game or in play .
    4. Accumulators can give you stress you dont need . Try keeping the stress time as small as possible . Sometimes you can find big prices inplay that make accumulators look small . Cashing out a bet for less profit is a win also .
    5. There are tons of games to come , you can allways skip days that dont look good for betting .
    6. Observe , wait and learn instead of looking for tips .
    7. When it comes to money management I ain’t good too . So , try keep betting as a hobby and not something that can harm you .

Surely this is a small list and I cant say much more . I hope I didnt say something wrong or bad for anyone . Good luck !

It’s a good advice though got to disagree with you on fractions. Brought up on fractions and glad to see bookies have kept them.

    On the betting front:

All down to the discipline. It’s a tough one.

Using the analogy of a drinker for example:
You start drinking regularly, you know you enjoy it, you work hard, my mates are down the pub, I get home from work and like a drink etc.For some of us we can use discipline and realise when we start to cross the line of ‘too much to drink’ but hey if your mates drink more and you do it for fun not because your an addict it must be ok right? Wrong.
Then over a period of time you spend more and more money, drink more and more and sometimes you don’t have fun, sometimes you sit there and think ‘why am I doing this all the time’ answer: because it’s addictive.
    Same with gambling.
Then having a break: ok that’s not a bad thing, re-group etc but in the back of your mind you know at some point you will be returning, you’ll be in that pub or at home with the mrs and the diet coke will sure enough be replaced by a pint of your favourite poison. This time though you’ll ‘only have 2/3 pints a day’ just for fun, of course you will tell yourself you won’t get caught up in it all over again….but in reality you are still an addict hence that’s why you are still drinking. Apply the same analogy to gambling.
Just because people on here and others around you are betting more often and using higher stakes doesn’t mean you’re ok and just do it for fun.
I know someone who swapped one addiction (drinking) for another (gambling) and he made a right mess of pretty much everything in his life, he was also on a break before going at it again and wasn’t going to let it all get the better of him.
Don’t get me wrong we’re not all the same and some won’t struggle in that way but it is there and it can very easily turn into an addiction.

Please tune in later for more positive vibes folks.

    Rogers over.

    Australian open betting tips

Hello everyone. I’ve been away from the site for many a moon, but hope to come back with a bang. I’ve had the chance to watch a lot of the early season tennis (especially the WTA) and fingers crossed this stands me in good stead for this fortnights action.

For me, the most striking thing about the women’s draw is how loaded the first quarter is.
Serena and Venus, Ka.Pliskova, Halep, Muguruza, joined by the in form and dangerous Giorgi and Kenin, as well as Bouchard who is starting to look much more like her old self, and Konta, Yastremska and Kasatkina, who are all formidable opponents on their day. Even many of the lesser lights of this quarter are capable of big performances and upsets when things click for them( Bacsinszky, Kanepi, Peng, Suarez Navarro an in form Cornet, as well as Stosur, who was looking really good last week)

Given that minefield, I am largely looking elsewhere, though Pliskova is in the easier bottom half half of the quarter and should make it through. 4-1 to win the quarter doesn’t really appeal to me that much, but 18/1 to win the whole torunamentt does, given her huge game, her very impressive recent form and her decent showings in Melbourne in the past.

Andreescu and Tsurenko are two of the other players who have hit the ground sprinting in 2019, and have gentler draws to negotiate. From the performances I’ve seen them deliver this year they have a real shot of going deep.

There’s no such thing as a sure thing in women’s tennis right now, and the start of a season is always difficult to predict. Expect to see some big favourites toppled early on.

The men’s field doesn’t really appeal to me, as Djokovic is clear favourite but backing him offers no value. Federer was awesome here last year and has a good shot, but though he’s as formidable behind serve as ever, he’s not the mr invincible he once was. There are a number of players lurking around who could land an surprise knockout blow to him, and Basilashvilli is one of those.

Probably my favourite player to watch after Roger, he possesses the most jaw dropping power game on tour (with del Porto out of action) and has developed a level of consistency and defensive ability that now gives him a chance of beating anyone on his day and going deep in big tournaments.
Kevin Anderson is the more obvious surprise success story pick and his odds reflect that. He’s become a really dependable performer in recent times, and while he probably doesn’t have what it takes to topple Novak Djokovic, he is capable of getting past everyone else.

    Women’s outright winner:

    Pliskova @ 18/1
    Andreescu @ 150/1
    Tsurenko @ 200/1

    Men’s outright winner:

    Anderson 29/1
    Bautista Agut 100/1
    Basilashvilli 500/1

    Women’s 2nd Quarter winner :
    Andreescu @ 25-1

    Women’s third quarter winner:
    Tsurenko @ 16/1

Women’s fourth quarter winner Vekic @16/1

    Men’s 3rd quarter winner. Basilashvili @40-1

20 or more booking points for Man United
20 or more booking points for levante
50 or more match booking points Bilbao v Sevilla.

The market is Man United 0.0 card handicap. WON. 👍👍

This match actually now looks interesting with that real Madrid line up. There’s a card happy referee and if real betis go for it, real Madrid could spit the dummy out leading to cards. Can’t see this match going real Madrid’s way. Might be one to look out for cards in play as line is quite high now.

Your comment last night got me thinking, gonna take sometime out myself. Trying my hand at new markets but operating at a loss. Remember saying to you that you gotta speculate to accumulate but realising shouldn’t be losing cash in doing so, in profit on cards since starting but well down on corner bets. I monitor how well I do on different markets and see what works and what doesn’t. Gonna do more extensive research specifically on cards + corners for a bit then come back to this betting lark.

    (Bet365)
    🌟🌟🌟 ✅

No 3rd Zeledon goal for the bonus 9/4 but happy enough with that 👍

      @hullshaker

Wondered if you minded sharing info on your staking plan, I know you use stars to indicate confidence and assume you use a set stake on each star.

So say for instance you played with a £1000 betting bank, would these stakes seem reasonable

      5 stars – £50 – 5% BB
      4 stars – £40 – 4 % BB
      3 stars – £25 – 2.5 % BB
      2 stars – £10 – 1% BB
      1 star – £5 – 0.5% BB

Not looking for specific figures on what you bet, more how you stake depending on confidence of the bet.

WD with the bet btw 👍

      Cheers lads 👍

Kyle, yes mate – nothing revolutionary and similar to your analogy above.

I have an assigned value for a star/point (call it what you like) and x that by 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 depending on confidence.

I never change the value or go above that 5x limit.

Hope that helps but nowt earth-shattering!
