Spain have been getting better with every game at the 2026 World Cup but face their toughest test yet as they take on Portugal in the last 16 tonight.
The European champions misfired in their opening game as minnows Cape Verde held them to a 0-0 draw that busted plenty of coupons.
But they've won every game since then and we're mightily impressive as they swatted aside Austria in the last round.
Portugal are a step up in class but Roberto Martinez's will need to improve after some shaky performances so far.

It looked like star striker Folarin Balogun would miss this game after a red card in the win over Bosnia and Herzegovina but FIFA have rescinded his suspension.
They did the same thing with Cristiano Ronaldo to ensure he wouldn't miss any of Portugal's group games and both decisions raise serious questions about the integrity of the tournament.
Balogun's return certainly gives the USA a better chance of reaching the quarter-finals and Bet365 now can't split the teams, with both at 10/11 to qualify. It will be interesting to see which nation gets more backing on the World Cup betting apps.
Belgium were lucky to get past Senegal in the last round so I'm going to bet on the Yanks for a win inside 90 minutes at 13/8.

Hacken vs Djurgarden
There's top-flight action in Sweden tonight and Hacken will be looking to keep their title bid alive by beating Djurgarden.
Leaders Sirius are nine points ahead but a win tonight would move Hacken above Hammarby into second place and leave them just six adrift.
Djurgarden are in the bottom half of the table but have two games in hand on most of the teams above them and a win would fire them up to sixth.
Hacken have yet to taste defeat, with five wins and five draws, so it's not a big surprise to see Djurgarden as Bet365's 31/20 outsiders.
The hosts are 29/20 to come out on top and that's tempting as they've won three of their last four.
