Celtic's disasterous season has somehow managed to get even worse since they last kicked a ball. The decision to take a much-criticised trip to Dubai has been confounded by the news that a squad member has returned a positive test which has thrown their build-up to Monday's clash with Hibs in to disarray.

Of course it does, it is like comparing say a World Cup Qualifier to a International Friendly, both may have a history of goals but you should get greater consistency of results from a fully competitive fixture. U23 games are typically used to introduce Triallists into the fold, players returning from long term injuries before going back to the 1st team etc. It is important to stake accordingly and have a plan in place.

If anyone feels there’s too much uncertainty surrounding the Celtic game and followed me in backing Celtic earlier then my advice is to take the 11/10 for hibs double chance or cashout for profit, either option provides you with a winner.
