RAFA NADAL continues to sweep all before him on a clay court and has now scooped three straight title to boost his Frech Open glory hopes.

The Spaniard edged out Dominic Thiem on Sunday to add the Madrid Masters crown to his successes in Barcelona and Monte Carlo.

Nadal is now 11-10 at Stan James to land his 10th French Open title when the Grand Slam action gets under way next week.

Before then it's the Rome Open this week with Nadal again the favourite at 11-10 with betfair followed by Novak Djokovic (4-1, Betfred) and out-of-sorts world No.1 Andy Murray (8-1, Beftred).

Today's opening round features two British hopefuls, with Kyle Edmund 13-18 at bwin to make it past Joao Sousa and Aljaz Bedene 1-10 at Betfair against Gianluca Mager.

In the NBA there's a play-off decider tonight with Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards tied at 3-3 heading into the final game. Celtics have home advantage and are 10-19 at Paddy Power to seal a spot in the Conference final while Washington are 183-100 at Marathonbet.
