SWANSEA are quite rightly favourites to win the Championship play-offs but may have to do it the hard way against Nottingham Forest.
The teams clash in the semi-final first leg at the City Ground and you'd think Forest would need a home win to have any chance of progressing.
Only Leicester in the top half of the Championship lost more away games than Swansea this season while Forest and QPR have suffered the fewest home defeats.
That's why Billy Davies’ side are 7-5 favourites with Chandler to win the night and I fancy Forest after they sealed their play-off spot with three successive triumphs.
Swansea are 9-4 at Betfred and Paddy Power with the draw 23-10 (various). To qualify for the final the Swans are 5-6 with Ladbrokes and it's Forest 1-1 with the likes of Hills and Coral.
Kris Boyd has been Forest's star man in recent weeks and is 11-2 with various firms to score first.
Traditionally first-leg ties produce fewer goals than the second legs with sides more cautious but Forest games have been high scoring so take a risk on more than 2.5 goals at 23-10 with William Hill.
Forest have netted 14 times in their last four with Swansea netting 10 in three – but only conceded 11 in 23 matches at the Liberty Stadium. That suggests goals and both teams to score pays 10-11 with Hills.
Recommendation
Both teams to score
(10-11, William Hill)
Nottm Forest
(7-5, Chandler)
