NEWCASTLE fans are among the hardest to please. That's been proved again this week following another managerial change.
A section of the support got their way when Chris Hughton was sacked despite leading them to the Championship title last season and keeping them out of the relegation zone in the Premier League.
Now some fans are backing new boss Alan Pardew to be booted. William Hill have cut their odds for Newcastle to be relegated this season from 5-1 to 7-2 and Ladbrokes go just 6-1 the former West Ham gaffer will be the next top-flight gaffer to lose his job. However he is 4-7 to still be with the club at the start of next season.
Ladbrokes also offer 12-1 they qualify for Europe in Pardew's first season but a a bottom-half finish is more likely at 2-7 than a top-half one (5-2).
Pardew is 8-11 with Ladbrokes to keep his new club up while West Ham go down and 8-1 to sign a Hammers player in the January transfer window, with Scott Parker a 33-1 chance to make a sensational return to St James’ Park.
It’s 11-4 Pardew registers his first win on his home debut against Liverpool tomorrow night and 16-1 his first win comes away at Tottenham.
