Second Test, Saturday, Melbourne, 11.05am
GEORGE NORTH claimed a wonder try in the Lions’ first Test win over the Aussies last week – and he is 10-1 at Stan James to touch down first today.
The opener was a thriller with Wallabies full-back Kurtley Beale slipping as he missed a late penalty that would have won the match.
So Warren Gatland’s men are in the driving seat and are 8-13 with Paddy Power and bet365 to win in Melbourne today and 6-4 at Skybet to complete a 3-0 whitewash.
The closeness of the opening encounter means the tourists are only 4-5 at bet365 minus three points.
If you don’t fancy North the obvious choice is Israel Folau who scored twice last week. He is 11-1 at Skybet.
BetVictor make the Lions 4-5 to put the first points on the board and it’s 6-4 (bet365) for the contest’s opening score to be a penalty for Warren Gatland’s Lions.

Not a great game today, but how tense was that! Wallabies deserved the win. Again, those interpretation issues a bit frustrating. Third test wide open, but I fancy the Lions to come back…
The UHT, watched most of the second half and thought Lions were just trying to see it out at the end instead of taking command. Paid for it and it’s a 50-50 call now for the final Test.
