BOOKIES have made Celtic big favourites to beat Rosenborg tonight – and the Scots champions should live up to their billing.
Brendan Rodgers's side face a tricky tie against the Norwegian league leaders who are halfway through their season but are rated 1-3 with best365 to make it through.
That gives Rosenborg an advantage – as does the absence of Light Griffiths and Moussa Demebele – but they're not as strong as Trondheim teams of the past who regularly reached the group stage and that was proven by Dundalk taking them to extra time after two 1-1 draws.
Celtic are a best 5-11 at 188BET to notch a first-leg success and while any win is good I'm sure Rodgers will be looking to take a two-goal lead to Trondheim.
If they play to their capabilities they should manage it and Celtic -1 pays 5-4 at William Hill. To win to nil the Hoops are 11-8 at William Hill.
A 2-0 victory would be perfect for the Scots and that's 13-2 at William Hill. To win 1-0 pays 13-2 at William Hill.
Scott Sinclair scored first in both legs against Linfield and is 9-2 with McBookie to break the deadlock again.
Tom Rogic will be furthest forward and is 15-2 at McBookie while Stuart Armstrong, who has plenty of goals in him, is 8-1 with McBookie respectively.
Playing without a proper centre-forward shouldn't be too much of a concern for Celtic as they did so several times last season and managed just fine. For me it's more important they don't concede.
Ex-Arsenal striker Niklas Bendtner is Rosenborg's best known player and is 10-1 at Betfred to score first and 7-2 to net at any time. Winger Pal Andre Helland is injured and his presence and goals will be missed.
Rosenborg are 9-4 with bet365 to qualify and a best 7-1 at McBookie to win at Parkhead.

When the tie was confirmed couldn’t disagree with any of those tips. Fancied 2-0 myself. Since learned that griffiths is out suspended and there’s a fair chance dembele will have to sit out injured meaning we have no recognised CF. I’d advise anyone betting on this game to wait for team news
Sinclair started up front on lst game of the season v Hearts and scored a hat trick in 5-0 win, Rogic to be playing more attacking role also from what I’ve read
Celtic screwed my bet… Looks like without Dembele celtic cannot win against european teams
