GREG was raging at Rosenborg last night as they were a huge disappointment and downed his double.
He has a strong fancy tonight in the Europa League second round qualifiers where he reckons St Johnstone's conquerors Trakai will be drastic on plastic.
Trakai v Norrkoping KO 5pm
Greg says: “I backed Norrkoping last week and they did the business. The reality is though they should have scored 5 or 6. They battered the Lithuanians but were wasteful in front of goal ( I think it finished 24 shots to 5).
“Having watched Trakai on this artificial pitch two weeks ago against us, we dominated the game but couldn't score. The tie is finely balanced but I'm taking the Swedes to do what they couldn't in the first leg and put the tie to bed. There’s no doubt Norrkoping are a much better side than Trakai – they should prove that tonight at a decent price.”
Back Norrkoping to win 20-21 (Betfair) (NAP)
I’m going against you here Greg as i think you are underestimating Trakai a lot, they scored an away goal which is always important in these ties and like you have expressed yourself the tie is finely balanced,Trakai are an attacking team and do this very well especially at home i cannot see them losing this match so my bet for this game is Trakai Double chance at 4/5.1-1 draw.
It’s all about opinions mate – I’ve watched Trakai in the flesh twice, and although they knocked us out, they were under the cosh for large parts of the game!! Those two ties were our first competitive games of the season – Norrkoping hammered them in the first leg but were really wasteful and missed lots of good chances! I would be really surprised if Norrkoping left here without the win!
