HIT and miss on yesterday's bets. Saints got the job done with ease in London, Elliott scored his TD(s) but Sean Lee out for Dallas was a big loss on the day, Beckham feasted and got his yard total but couldn’t get the score, and Chris Carson had an average game before exiting with injury.
Monday night football sees the Redskins head to the Chiefs. The Chiefs are the only defeated team left, but don’t be surprised if that changes tonight.
Washington shut down a high powered Raiders team last week and will be looking to stop Kansas’ explosive offense tonight. Travis Kelce was only targeted once last week, which is a complete turnaround which saw 17 targets over his first two games.
With Washington’s stout run defense, we could see Kelce seeing more targets tonight. Before yesterday, Washington had given up the most yards to Tight Ends through three games. Kelce for me is easily in the top three Tight Ends in the NFL right now.
Jordan's Tip
- Travis Kelce (Kansas City) Over 60.5 Receiving Yards
- (5-6, Paddy Power) – 3 points
in by half time. thanks
Kelces’ yards where in by HT on Monday night so hoping to take this form into Thursday night football. Through four weeks, the Super Bowl Champions are 2-2, and have the worst defence in the league right now. Can we still trust the Patriots? Probably, but I wouldn’t not on the road in Tampa. These are the two worst passing defences in the league, so we could again see some Tom Brady fourth quarter heroics, as they’ll be against another strong offensive unit tonight with Mike Evans’ mouth currently watering at tonights matchup.
Belichick usually tries to take away your biggest weapon, but that hasn’t seemed to work this year, and the Bugs do have a few playmakers, so focusing on Mike will be a mistake. The Bugs also get the return of Doug Martin tonight. Could be some rust on the muscle hamster, but its a big boost.
It’s rare that the Pats lose twice, but they have given up 300+ yards to every signal caller they’ve played this season. With players like Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson, OJ Howard and Cameron Brate, Winston has the tools to keep this close at home against a porous secondary.
The Buccs are healthy but will still be without their first and second linebackers on the depth chart, that should play into Gronks hands down the middle of the field (if he can stay on it).
One player who goes under the radar is Chris Hogan. The Patriots wideout is second on the team in targets, and leads the team in TD’s, snagging four over the past three weeks. Skybet are offering a very low line considering his usage volume, the fact he’s gone over this total the past three weeks, and up against the second worst passing defence tonight.
Chris Hogan Over 56.5 Receiving Yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet – 3.3 points (73.5 @ PP)
Chris Hogan Anytime TD @ 6/4 @ Skybet – 2 points
Bets to consider
Mike Evans Over 75.5 Receiving Yards @ 10/11 @ Skybet
Mike Evans Anytime TD @ 5/4 @ Skybet
Hogan and Evans 100+ Receiving Yards & Both To Score A TD @ 14/1 @ Skybet
Hogans yards have now been upped to 65.5 @ Skybet. Next best are 59.5 @ 4/5 @ 365 and 56.5 @ Betway.
