AFRICAN CUP favourites Ivory Coast kick off their campaign with what should be an easy win against Sudan.

I say should but that was the case for second favourites Senegal yesterday but they crashed to a shock defeat to Zambia.

So Ivory Coast can't take anything for granted and I reckon that result will have given them a warning they can't take anything for granted.

They are packed with talent from top European clubs although they will miss the suspended former Spurs star Didier Zokora.

But in there are Kolo and Yaya Toure, Cheik Tiote, Salomon Kalou, Didier Drogba, Gervinho (Arsenal) and others.

They cruised through qualifying with six wins in six, scoring 19 goals.

It's difficult to see anything but an Ivory Coast win but as they are no bigger than 2-9 with William Hill and bet365 try them -1 at 8-11 with Paddy Power or even -2 at 15-8 with Skybet.

Chelsea star Drogba is 11-4 at bet365 and Betfred to score first while Yaya Toure is worth a look at 17-2 with bet365.

The other game between Burkino Faso and Angola (7pm) looks like a draw with Stan James going 11-5.

Recommendations

Ivory Coast -1

(8-11, Paddy Power)

Drogba to score first

(11-4, bet365, Betfred)
