SHOCKER of a day yesterday and I’m looking for a touch of Northern cheer as I sit sipping an overpriced London lager.
ATHERTON COLLIERIES VS. PRESCOT CABLES (7.45pm)
It’s not a great card but there’s potential for goals as these two Northwest powerhouses (😂) meet in the lower leagues – Atherton’s games have stabilised somewhat but, like Cables, they have been involved in some real ding-dongs.
To date, the hosts’ 9 league matches have produced 40 goals offering up an average of just over 4 goals per match whilst Prescot’s opening salvo has seen a collective 33 goals across their own 8 games thus far.
Not too shabby.
H2H-wise, there are two games to look at from last season – the latter fixture finished a dour 1-0 to Atherton whilst the former saw 4 goals as part of a 3-1 Prescot victory.
I think there’s a fair chance of action tonight and Prescot’s away scoring form is of particular significance; 3-2-3-2-1 team goals on the road is hard to ignore and points to a team not backwards in coming forwards away from home!
Not much coverage from bookmakers but 10Bet have a pretty broad spread of markets and I’m taking them up on the following.
Well done mate 👍🏿
Cheers @jabaraba1971 👍
