I have had internet issues at the time of study and had to make do with what I could, hopefully, the efforts I've made see us rewarded despite the minute amount of time I had to prepare. I will ensure tomorrow's article is the best since our big win at York, good luck.

Attacanter's Tips

Bad Habits 7/2 – 16.20 Southwell

Although the selection really needs to be winning, and there is no way to be be anywhere near sure of that, I am still happy to take a chance on George Boughey's Bad Habit with Billy Loughnane taking over from Jason Watson who was on for debut when 3rd of 9 at Redcar just 6 days ago.

The AMO Racing representative ran 3rd on debut now switched to the AW he is capable of kicking on despite the potential depth of the race. He doesn't off any value in terms of a single as the bookies price is more relative to the connections, as mentioned I have had internet issues and will throw him in hoping he doesn't at least let us down for a place.

Jimmy Speaking 8/1 four places – 20.00 Southwell

Sylvester De Sousa has long been used by Chris Dwyer for the Strawberry Fields Stud, they have enough worth dodging but I am happy to take a chance on their three year old in this. Jimmy Speaking is a decent enough price, he has shot up in the ratings since winning on his first two starts and his form has plateaued as a result.

His win at Ascot back in May rated 78 in a race similar to this level saw him winning for the 2nd time in what looks a decent enough race, we have to cross our fingers but if anywhere near that level he is a tad overpriced. He had a break in June until Septemeber when 5th over an inadequate trip. The 6th of 9 at Chelmsford just over ten days ago isn't what we ideally want to be backing him off the back of from 2lbs higher but SDS is back on board and we'll risk it.

Expressionless 8/1 four places – 15.48 Nottingham

I am going to take a chance on another Dylan Cunha runner, the top two in the market are there on merit but both are taking a step up in trip. My selection is proven having won at the Racing League meet at Yarmouth when Hayley Turner was on board, as she is today.

The horse has been very consistent since stepping up in trip for the first time in May this year, two wins and two 2nds ready well given she Yarmouth race was a Class 3 and this is a Class 5. The heavy going shouldn't be much of an issue given he won on soft last year, now just 1lb above the Racing League meet, the price is more than fair in an open looking field.

Musical Tough 7/1 four places – 18.15 Wolverhampton

I am going to take a chance on the lightly raced Richard Fahey runner in this at the expense of a few proven rivals. The three year old Mehmas gelding should find this level managable and has shown enough to suggest he will be capable now making his third start in a handicap.

It was the race at Doncaster in June which caught my attention, a 0.5 length third in what looks a promising form line. Sondad was in behind and went in two times since, the 2nd Balmoral Lady has won four times since then and the winner is now rated 80 having shown enough to be confident a repeat of that gives us a decent chance in this.
