Greenway Machine ran a relative blinder and kept our interest for a long way into the race, jumping the last with a chance, prominent throughout only one came out of the pack to prevent him winning. It's a bad day at the office when a NR is a boost to results but we go again.

Today's selections don't inspire price wise but I do think the shorter selections hold solid claims. Poles Apart was a bit of a tough inclusion given a good few others had proved more whilst Power of Gold can feature if showing his best, but there are a couple of horses at the top of the market likely to fill the places.

Attacanter Racing Tips

Now 5/1 four places – 16.30 Naas

I don't like skinny prices with extra places but it was pleasing to see a backable Donnacha O'Brien runner at Naas, his previous four runners have finished 2nd, 1st, 1st and 5th of 22. His 2 winners from 24 runners at this track with the majority unplacing isn't ideal so I'll avoid his bigger-priced runner-up against an 11/10 favourite.

Now is entered into a Nursery having had three runs, there isn't much likeable form besides her 3rd at Bellewstown which was a sign of life, the addition of a 5lb apprentice is only going to aid her chances effectively running off 61.

I have clearly sided with her on trainer form, the market is very open, and the type of race the money could be accurate in. The whole field is obviously unexposed but we can expect a better showing from the Tabor & Magnier Circus Maximus filly. Her sire has seen 7 of his 2yo's race this year, 2 winners and 4 places from a total of 17 runs isn't particularly offputting given two horses were responsible for 5 of the non-placings.

Just Ten High 10/3 four places – 18.30 Chelmsford City

We weren't rewarded for going with such a short-priced selection yesterday in the shape of Estrange but I'll have another crack with Just Ten High, the selection makes handicap and AW debut having shown nothing in three starts over 5f.

Now upped in trip, this Ten Sovereigns gelding is open to improvement and we can hope the market is accurate given he is the opening favourite. He went off the last twice at 100/1 so his switch to an artificial surface by his respected handler looks a well-respected move.

I chanced Maverick Style last time at Fflos Las, he was a very distant third and a similar price so the race looks winnable enough.

Poles Apart 7/1 – 19.00 Chelmsford City

Top Button appeals much more on paper than my selection, he has the win bounce form coming into this which is often a good thing.

I instead will opt for a rather skinny-priced selection based on what he has shown. Only managing 5th last time, it was some of his best form, 3rd before that with a 5lbs claim who isn't on today all makes ominous reading.

This is a bargain basement race, Hughie Morrison had a winner the last time he was here, it was also his only runner on the card. He's only had 5 winners here over the last two years but that came from 29 runners – only of his others managed to place which isn't ideal.

I see this horse capable of outrunning his paper form, in what is a wide-open market, upon waking up in the market we'll either still be in the game or totally out of it.

Power Of Gold 16/1 four places – 16.48 Ayr

Power of Gold rates a risky proposition, he changed yards in July having been a very expensive horse to follow after winning rated 78 15 months ago for Hugo Palmer.

That Doncaster race was over a mile in a Class 4, now with the Quinn yard, they sent him there last month dropped into a Class 5 for the first time since his debut, he finished a neck 2nd off today's mark having been off the bridle early but kept on into 2nd from the outside.

Upped back over the mile at a stiff, soft Ascot, he only managed 9th of 13 in the Shaladar race; if you were on, you'll remember how that went. He remains over the mile which given the look of the race card, suggests his return to the C&D of his debut needs to be somewhat of an omen.

With the look of the race, the price is quite indicative, he is only 4lbs below his only win but on firmer ground, we have an extra place and enough rivals at big enough prices – he is chanced.

WHAT IS A LUCKY 15 BET?

A Lucky 15 bet consists of 15 unique bets, covering every possible combination that comes from backing four selections. The 15 bets are broken down like this:

– 1 fourfold accumulator

– 4 trebles, with each treble omitting one of your selections

– 6 doubles, again covering every possible combination

– 4 singles

The attraction of a Lucky 15 is that it offers many more ways to win than a standard accumulator. A Lucky 15 uses both your acca and your singles as well as producing trebles and doubles that reward you for correctly calling 2/4 or 3/4 of your selections. To cover the 15 separate bets, a Lucky 15 uses your stake 15 times. If you were to place £1 on a Lucky 15, you would be staking £15 in total across the various bets.

      It’s the way forward dazzman.
If you back 4 non runners a day statistically you will never lose and you get the pleasure of collecting off the bookies at the end of the day.
A low cost alternative to looking for winners and losing .
