Sunday’s card at Bath is an interesting one, with the 16:20 being a race to attack. For my money, Glamorous Express’ odds of 14/1 are rather generous, which is why I'm putting this up nice and early (Saturday night). Put it this way, I’d be surprised if such a price was available come the off, so getting in early and taking the value is key here.

Sitting 3 lbs below his last winning mark, I’d argue that Tony Carroll’s gelding is well handicapped, so much so that his next day in the sun likely won’t be far away.
Each of his last two efforts over five furlongs have been encouraging, including at this venue last time out, where he ran on from the back to claim a close-up third, beaten less than a length.
The extra half furlong could unlock what’s needed to win this
On recent evidence, Sunday’s extra half furlong could be just what the doctor ordered, as he’s done his best work late on in each of his last two races.
Based on his latest effort, he’ll also enjoy the fact that there ought to be a decent pace on here, with several in the field who like to go forward. That battle for the lead could promote something of a pace collapse, which should be right up this closing type’s street.
One win and one place from three runs at Bath bodes well, while the booking of Jack Doughty, whose 5 lb claim leaves the five-year-old looking very nicely weighted indeed, is a shrewd one.
He’s also gone close on good-to-soft before, while his trainer is absolutely no stranger to doing well at Bath. As far as I’m concerned, 14/1 is far too big and should be taken by those looking for value.
Based on a £10 level-stakes example, the Nap of the Day running profit is -£50 (since switching to being published here rather than on the ‘Nap of the Day' page).
It all rests on this now to claw back the week ! I hope your not clutching at straws ! Hopefully I’ve jinxed it now and it does the business for you
