After landing a good 10/1 winner on Thursday, Friday couldn't continue the winning streak to two days.
Both of the horses on Friday were duds and didn't put up much of a fight.
Astronomic View was held up, and didn't look like he stayed the trip. It was always a risk with him not being proven over the trip; sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't, and this time proved to be the latter.
Belle Brisse was given an odd ride. He was extremely wide all race, arguably the widest out of all horses at Sedgefield on Friday. He travelled nicely, but found nothing for pressure. Whether the ride was to blame for it, I am not sure.
Invincible Nao 7/1 (1pt) – Sandown 3.35
I am a sucker for having a bet in the National races; they're just great spectacles, and I really enjoy the long-distance races.
Invincible Nao won a race for me last year, but also flopped in the Midlands National when I tipped him up Antepost.
I am supremely confident at big odds for the Uttoxeter race, but he didn't appear to be at the races that day. However, horses do have off days, and they do bounce back.
I think that this race has been the early-season plan for this horse, so the win last time out might have been a surprise for connections.
He wasn't overly popular in the market, but at the same time, he wasn't a drifter. close to fully fit. The fact that they ran him over 2m 4f suggests it was for fitness, and today's race was the main goal.
In the Plumpton National race, he won over 3m 4f, he was held up and given a belting ride to win close to home. I think today's venue, with the stiff finish, will be ideal for him, and I think he's not done progressing yet.
Gaboriot 6/1 (1pt) – Aintree 2.40
I cannot remember if I tipped Gabiorot for the main thread or the Lucky 15 thread when he ran in the Grand Sefton, but I thought he was unlucky not to win.
He has been placed in that race on two occasions, which shows his love for the Grand National fences.
Today's trip of 3m 2f should not be a problem for him, as he won a hunter's chase over 4m last year.
We know he jumps these fences well, stays the trip, and gets in off a low weight. It looks like a no-brainer to tip him up.
Just Over Land 11/2 (1pt) – Chepstow 12.29
This race looks tougher than the race Just Over Land won at Fontwell last time out, but he is from a very good yard and is still a lightly raced horse. I believe progression hasn't stopped for him just yet.
I tipped him up at Fontwell last time out, and people might think he was a lucky winner. I think he was always going to win.
The leader fell a few fences from home, and Just Over Land managed to stay on to pass tired horses, winning by a couple of lengths. He was inconvenienced by the faller, which made his job much harder.
He has gone up a few pounds in the handicap, but this track might suit him better.

Bet365
BUT….Money back Top 4 is 11/2 so going with that
Looks a silly price to me 🤷
Jockey Arnaldo Bocachicca rules this course and horse has a great chance on the ratings on only his 2nd start at Charles Town and only 2nd run for new trainer who wouldn’t book the man again for nothing
