There are no bets from me today and I couldn't find anything strong enough that was value. River Boyne at 14-1 in the 3.10 at Newcastle and Umberto D'Olivate at 9-1 in the 3.20 at Exeter were the closest I came but just not strong enough.

On it’s only other run at the track it bolted up off a mark of 73 on soft/heavy over 7f. Goes off 74 today with jockey taking 7 off. Drops back to 6f but shouldn’t be a problem as it likes to go off in front.

The 3:20 Exeter is a very open race but the one that caught my eye was Umberto D’Olivate who really is outstanding around Exeter, from ten races he has won three and placed in five, infact he has never been out of the top five places here, he does run well after a break and I really would be surprised if connections didn’t want to get this horse ready first time but it is a competitive race which is why I haven’t advised him
The 3:10 Newcastle is the big one at the meeting and while horses like It Don’t Come Easy, Lake Volta, Sarookh and Beatbox Rhythm have good chances the one that interests me is River Boyne, 6th to US Navy Flag on debut and I just thought the 7f was just too far this early, he has to improve a lot but it is possible

Decent run there from River Boyne, 2nd at 20/1 but was never really given a chance with the winner as he was given too much to do, he ran a bit keenly but knuckled down inside the final furlong to finish fast,
