Saturday was a great day on the thread with both selections winning nicely.
Today's thread will be the last that I will be working as a lone wolf, as we welcome back Rizzel tomorrow, who will combine with me in July.
I've only a sole selection for Sunday's racing which comes in the big race at the Curragh.
Ambiente Friendly 6/4 – Curragh 4.05
A cracking race on paper, with the top two in the market Ambiente Friendly and Los Angeles locking horns once more, after meeting each other recently in the Epsom Derby.
Three and a quarter lengths separated the pair in the Epsom Derby when they were beaten by City Of Troy, with Ambiente Friendly finishing in second and Los Angeles in third. City Of Troy was mightily impressive that day when bouncing back to form and although the distance isn't that significant that separated my selection and Los Angeles, I don't see the placings being reversed in this instance.
If you dig a little further and look past the Epsom Derby form, I again think Ambiente Friendly brings the more solid form to the table. He beat Aiden O'Briens Illinois in the Lingfield Derby prior to Epsom, which received a boost recently as Illinois went on to win the Group 2 Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot.

Runs here off 95 having gone up just 2lbs for finishing 3/4L 2nd to Chicago Critic who finished 3rd in the Jersey and is now rated 109.
Simply has to be well h”capped here.
1.40 Tunbridge Wells 2/1
Wears headgear which is always a bit of a worry for a 2yr old but the form of his last run took a huge boost when Mighty Eriu finished 2nd in the Queen Mary.
2.15 Commanche Falls 6/4
Won the race last year and is clear on ratings to repeat this year.
4.05 Ambiente Friendly 5/4
If this race was being run in the UK AF would be 4/6. He holds LA on Derby form and unless Ballydoyle come up with some sort of boxing in tactic I just can’t see how LA turns the form around.

2 group races at saint cloud tomorrow at 2-55 and 4-23 with British interest in both.
Strongly fancy bright picture in the 4-23 current odds 13-8 but the other is trickier as you can throw a blanket over the first 4 in the betting.
Bright picture beat calandagan then came 2nd to the same horse before calandagan went on to win at royal Ascot, this is a good form line for me.
Don’t know who Laurent barbarian is tipping yet but he always picks zarir so will see what his thoughts before betting on that one.

It won the group 2 jockey club stakes first time out at Newmarket with cairnzys Saturday top king of conquest back in 5th.
On the assumption it’s not there for a joyride I’ll have a few bob on it each way.

Sat in pub yesterday watching racing mate says doing a £2.50 reverse forecast in this race Windsor 4.25 . Forecast comes in pays £32 , looks at his phone won over £800 .He had not put the point in between the 2 and the 5 and done a £25 reverse forecast. How jammy is that.
