Cairnzy and Rizzel have picked out 4 horses from the meetings at Ayr, Beverley, Cartmel and Windsor for Monday's lucky 15 bet.

Cairnzy's tips –

Mrs Trump 6/1 – Beverley 6.30

There looks plenty of pace on offer in this contest, which could set up nicely for a holdup performer. My dart landed on the Midgley-trained Mrs Trump who at 6/1 looks a fair price in this open-looking contest.

She arrives in good form with recent form figures of 16122 and her recent second at Nottingham last time out has received a boost with the winner and fourth-placed going on to win races. If Mark Winn can get her nicely positioned to challenge then she could go close.

Alpine Sierra 5/1 -Ayr 5.25

I narrowed this race down to Helter Skelter and Alpine Sierra, and after going back and forth between the two, I finally opted to take on the short-priced favourite. Helter Skelter has a huge chance on the back of his two runner-up efforts but the form of the yard is a massive concern for me and at 13/8 I think he's worth taking on.

Alpine Sierra is a two-timer course winner at Ayr and tends to run well at the track, his stamina was stretched last time out when running over 1m2 but the drop back to a mile is more up his street and he can close off a 1lb lower mark.

Rizzel's tips –

Jolie Coeur Allen EVS – Cartmel 2.45

This is a maiden race, so as you can expect the level of racing is quite poor. There are quite a few horses who are more known on the flat, but the one I thought could be too good for the lot of them is Jolie Coeur Allen who is making her first start for Ben Haslam since moving from Willie Mullins' yard earlier this summer.

She hasn't hit the ground running like your usual JP McManus horse kept with Willie Mullins, and that's why she has moved stable and gone over the Irish Sea to Ben Haslam. However, she has run well in enough races to suggest she isn't good enough to win a race like today's which looks very poor. She has been in the places on four of her five starts and recorded RPRs in the mid to high 100-110s, and that is much better than anything else in this race. She has been priced up accordingly, and I wouldn't be surprised if she drifts in the market with people wanting to take her on.

Naaey 3/1 – Windsor 7.50

I'm fairly certain the punters will want to latch onto the 3-year-olds in this race, but I think the top-weight Naaey shouldn't be underestimated.

John and Thady Gosden's 4-year-old daughter of Lope De Vega is very lightly raced, with just one run in each year of her career, with the two first runs leaving a good impression. She returned this season with a run at Pontefract in a Listed contest, and that was a step too far, and probably on ground which wasn't favourable. She is by Lope De Vega who is known for producing soft ground horses, she was intended to make her debut in October 2022 on soft ground but was withdrawn due to unsuitable ground, and though she was up in class last time out, chances are that she doesn't want that type of ground.

The form of her win at Wolverhampton last year has worked out well with the runner-up and third winning three times between them and the third-placed horse is now rated 84.

WHAT IS A LUCKY 15 BET?

A Lucky 15 bet consists of 15 unique bets, covering every possible combination that comes from backing four selections. The 15 bets are broken down like this:

– 1 fourfold accumulator

– 4 trebles, with each treble omitting one of your selections

– 6 doubles, again covering every possible combination

– 4 singles

The attraction of a Lucky 15 is that it offers many more ways to win than a standard accumulator. A Lucky 15 uses both your acca and your singles as well as producing trebles and doubles that reward you for correctly calling 2/4 or 3/4 of your selections. To cover the 15 separate bets, a Lucky 15 uses your stake 15 times. If you were to place £1 on a Lucky 15, you would be staking £15 in total across the various bets.
