MONDAY'S Reserve and Development games have been hit by the international break but there are still some good looking matches taking place from the Scottish and English games.

Charlton U23s have been a favourite for goals for the last few months and are worth backing again as they host Hull while my two favourite Scottish Reserve teams over the last few seasons meet as Hibs welcome Ross County.

Charlton U23 vs Hull U23 (1pm)

Easy to see why Charlton have been a goalgetters dream recently  –  9 of their last 10 games have seen over 3.5 goals (1-3 3-1 3-6 3-0 4-1 1-4 1-4 4-1  3-1 4-0) and with recent high-scoring wins at home against Sheff Wed and Colchester, that bodes well as they welcome basement strugglers Hull who have won just one of their last 16 away matches.

The hosts have scored three or more in 6 of their last 9 and don't keep many clean sheets. Has the look of their standard 3-1 or 4-1 scoreline.

Recommended Bet

  • Over 3.5 goals
  • 11/10 (Bet365)

Hibs Reserves vs Ross County Reserves  (1pm)

The Hibees are flying at the moment with 6 wins on the bounce with those 6 games seeing 31 goals (25 scored by Hibs). They've scored 18 goals in their last 3 home matches and play a Ross County side who have scored 2 or more in 11 of their last 14 games.

County's games see plenty of goals (both for and against) and I'd be surprised if we didn't see both sides contribute here.

Recommended Bet

  • Over 3.5 match goals
  • 4/5 (Bet365)

Also worth noting..

St Johnstone are sending a young side to Hamilton today it  may be worth backing the Accies at 13/8 (8/11 double chance)

Partick Thistle host bottom side QoS and are just a tad over even money  which looks big given how much QOS struggle + Thistle beat a very experienced St Johnstone side last week 1-0

Word of warning about Hibernian as all season we have been working with a thin squad which was only helped with first team players needing game time,
Not sure if Yrik Galantes is back from the Philippines squad yet plus Sean Mackie and Oli Shaw are with Scotland U21s today, we still have plenty goal threats but I would hold off on any bet till the teams are announced

Hibs team looks good with Marvin Bartley, Jonathan Spector and Ryan Gauld drafted in, should score a few now and the defence is strengthened

Thanks Mate – just seen the lineup on Twitter

    Looks strong enough

Team news in this league really really crucial – hoping Ross county score their standard 2 goals

Great shout on Hamilton and Partick. Did the double (Partick & Hamilton DC) for small stakes. 4-0 & 0-3 respectively 😱

Wish I’d had more confidence now put more on it! 😂

I did the same. However Bet365 just voided the Hamilton bet as the game was listed as a St Johnstone home game :-(
