IN essence I'm pleased I had a week off last week, it was needed after the late nights in Hawaii the week before albeit Leishmania placed at 20s meaning we still have a CURRENT PROFIT OF 71.8 POINTS.
To be fair I would not of selected the 600/1 winner on the PGA and whoever did needs a knighthood.
Plenty of drinking on Saturday including Morettis and Jaegerbombs left me feeling jaded and shaking in aisle 3 in Mark's and Spencers on Sunday and for once I was glad I didn't have the stress of being involved Sunday evening in the PGA.
Drinking has become a coping strategy lately as my dear friend is jet-setting around Asia looking happier than ever. My new boom boom 2 driver still has not been tested which is concerning to say the least.
Dubai Desert Classic
This week I'm back, The Slice is feeling the luck again and look no further than TOMMY FLEETWOOD to go well in the Dubai Desert Classic.
Not only does he look like the winner of the X Factor but he plays like he has it too. Recent form for the Southport man in the Middle East is exceptional with some of his finest performances coming there.
New equipment saw him plod round last week, but one quiet week inevitably means a loud one next week for the Ryder Cup hero.
He's my top tip this week on the par 72 layout that suits big hitters and players which possess the X Factor.
Second up look at Ryan Fox. The Kiwi is priced at 80/1 and with 6 places on offer is a steal.
FOX performs strongly in Rolex events and has the key attribute of being long off the tee. I'll be expecting the fox to be in the box on Sunday .
Recommended Bets
- Fleetwood 3pts e/w 14/1 William Hill (6 places 1/5 odds)
- Fox 1pt e/w 80/1 Betfred (6 places 1/5 odds)
Farmers Insurance Open
Small plays had over in San Diego, and first choice goes to RUSSEL KNOX.
Foxy Knoxy is a strange performer but thankfully no relation to Amanda. He fluctuates between non existent at times and breathtaking at others.
It's a gamble as it always is but particularly as power seems to be the focus, Knox isn't short by any means but is no CAM CHAMP, the Scot is overpriced this week still and I'm on.
Last but no means least is my mate Garry’s lookalike HAROLD VARNER III, long spoken about as the next big thing, it's time to make that name viable Harold and give us all a good week.
Recommended Bets
- Knox 1pt e/w 100/1 Paddy Power (8 places)
- Varner III 1pt e/w 110/1 Paddy Power (8 places)
Good luck 3 slice x
