France will look to move another step closer to the last 32 of the World Cup by defeating Iraq at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Monday night.
Didier Deschamps’s side are widely fancied to go all the way in North America this summer, and they made a winning start with a 3-1 victory over Senegal.
As for Iraq, they endured a nightmare return to the world stage when being thrashed 4-1 by Norway.
The star-studded French have won 10 of their last 12 matches and scored at least twice in each of those victories, and they look well placed to extend that sequence against the Lions of Mesopotamia.
Senegal To Score 1+ (Tuesday, 01:00)
Two teams who suffered contrasting results in their opening World Cup matches meet at MetLife Stadium early on Tuesday morning, as Senegal face Norway.
Senegal held their own for long spells against France but ultimately fell to a 3-1 defeat.
As for Norway, they flexed their muscles to overpower Iraq thanks to an Erling Haaland-inspired 4-1 victory.
However, the attack-minded Norwegians have failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last eight matches, so Senegal to score at least once appeals.
