MIDWEEK cards have been almost non-existent but the Bundesliga is providing us with a great spectacle tonight with some cracking looking matches.
We have 4 from the top flight, including the Der Klassiker, a match that Dortmund can ill-afford to lose and a Leverkusen side who are absolutely flying as they look to make inroads on the top 3. We also have 4 matches from the second tier that are worth backing in the total goals market.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Wolfsburg (KO 7.30pm)
We often describe a team as “flying” but I think its fair to say this Leverkusen side are the epitome of the word “flying”. They were in sensational form before football was stopped and have come back all guns blazing with a 4-1 and 3-1 victories.
They've won 11 of their last 12 in all competitions and are now 14 wins, a draw and a solitary defeat from their last 16. There was always going to be questions marks around how teams would perform after such a lengthy spell out but Leverkusen have just picked up from where they left off.
They are scoring at will with 14 of their last 16 games seeing at least two Leverkusen goals (11 of those 16 they hit 3+) and with 17 goals scored in their last 5 matches (7 since the return) they look in terrific shape to collect three points at home to a Wolfsburg side who look no match.
All eyes will be on young striker Kai Havertz who is firing on all cylinders for Leverkusen recently with a brace in both matches since the return taking his tally to 9 goals in his last 10 appearances.
Can't see anything but a home and the odds of 8/11 appeal but happy to take them to win and there to be over 1.5 goals in the match, especially given how rampant Leverkusen have been.
Recommended Bet
- Bayer Leverkusen to win / over 1.5 match goals
- 21/20 (bet365 BetBuilder) (NAP)
Bundesliga 2 – Total match goals (4 matches 5.30pm)
I like the look of the skybet special on the 4 matches to deliver 11+ goals at 5/6, it's been an encouraging restart in the second tier and the Jahn Regensburg v Nurnberg clash should deliver a good percentage of the 11 goals needed.
- 11+ match goals to be scored
- 5/6 (Skybet)
Five matches kicking off in Germany in all at 5.30pm – going to have a Hollywood early goal bet on all 5 to have a goal scored before 10 mins (trebles, 4 folds and 5 folds) accumulator before 30 mins. All 8 German matches over 1.5 goals pays 9-2 with Paddy Power.
First time on, go easy on me.

Good luck ??
I get worried when everyone tips the same team to win- i.e Leverkusen. Too late though I’m on the nap and the 11+ goals .
Thanks Greg 11 goals ?
Thought it was home and dry but VAR kicked in. Thanks to Nurnberg we got to 11- well done. It’s a good thing games last 94 minutes these days. That sweat was my exercise for today….

I don’t know about Greg but those odds look really skinny.
Have to agree – really poor odds for so much needing to happen.
