FRIDAY nights hold a lot of excitement for overs punters. There is the anticipation of the weekend's fixtures but most of all for the unique leagues that play the majority of their games on a Friday evening. Namely the Irish Premier Division, Austrian League 2 and the infamous Dutch Eerste Divisie.

Ask any overs bet player and they will tell you tales of the week they placed a 10-fold overs bet in the Eerste Divisie one Friday night and every game hit! However, the last two seasons have seen some of the teams learn to defend and you have to be careful to avoid a rogue goalless game.

I'm going to make use of these three leagues and a standout Belgium game tonight for a 6-fold overs acca.

SKU Amstetten v WSG Swarovski Wattens (6.10pm)

This Austria League 2 game involves the diamond (sorry) team of the season so far in Wattens who sit top with an impressive 24 league goals in 11 games. The home side have conceded 16 goals already after the same number of games, but can also score plenty too.

FK Austria Vienna 2 v Blau Linz (6.10pm)

Remaining in Austria, again the away side are sitting high in the league (2nd) and again have a very good scoring record, especially away from home. The Austria Vienna second string team have lost their last three games and shipped a total of 9 goals in those three games.

Gent v Sporting Charleroi (7.30pm)

This Belgium First Division game sees two mid-table sides face off against each other. Gent have seen over 2.5 goals in their last 5 games and Sporting in their last 3. It's hard to determine who will win but the game should see goals.

Cork City v Bray Wanderers (7.45pm)

This Irish Premier League game sees the second-top home side face bottom of the league Bray Wanderers. Cork have scored 66 goals this season and Bray have conceded 91. Also the last three head-to-heads have seen 4 goals in each game.

PSV Reserves v FC Dordrecht (7pm)

This Dutch Eerste Divisie game has a home side who have won the last 4 games against tonight's opposition. PSV's last 4 games have also been overs. Dordrecht are currently sitting bottom of the league and the last 7 games between the sides have produced over 2.5 goals.

Sparta Rotterdam v Telstar (7pm)

In the same Dutch division these two teams are regularly involved in overs games and both have seen over 2.5 goals in four of their last five games.

Recommended bet

  • Six-fold over 2.5 goals acca
  • Pays 15.5-1 (Bet365)
