IT'S just eight days until top-class football returns with five 2.30pm kick-offs including Dortmund vs Schalke, RB Leizig vs Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt vs Borussia M'gladbach.
Until then we'll continue to have some fun with matches from Belarus and Friday sees the start of the South Korean League with Jeonbuk Motors at home to Suwon Bluewings.
I don't follow South Korean football but a little research has taught me Jeonbuk are the dominant force having won three titles in a row.
The league was meant to kick off in early March and both sides had played a couple of warm-ups – Jeonbuk lost 2-1 to Yokohama Marinos and drew 2-2 with Sydney.
Bluewings lost to Vissel Kobe and Malaysian outfit Johor so it's no surprise Jeonbuk, unbeaten in 13 league matches at home, are odds-on favourites at 7-10 with bet365 to start with three points.
There are two games in Belarus with leaders Slutsk first up against BGU followed by Gorodeya v FC Minsk.
Slutsk have been on fire and there looks only one winner against a side that's lost four out of five. They are, however, surprisingly big at 23-20 with William Hill.
Looking at the Gorodeya game and picking a winner is not easy but the previous four meetings have gone over 2.5 goals so consider that at 29-20 at betfair.

The warm up fixtures mr Fixit has mentioned in March were AFC Champions league games and jeonbuk managed 3 red cards in those 2 games. The 2 H2h last season at jeonbuk saw a red apiece in one game and 8 yellows in the other so it looks as if these 2 (especially the home side) like a card.
50+ bp might be worth a look at 10/11 skybet.
Other bets to consider are a goal in both halves at 4/5, and Adam taggart to score anytime at 21/10, both at skybet. He was the top scorer in the league last season with 20 and 15 of those came away from home. He was an A league regular for a few years and certainly knows where the net is. Small stakes for me, I’d advise the same, it’s the first gameweek and my knowledge isn’t the same as what it is for other leagues.

Did anyone watch the Korean game ?.
I found it horrible viewing, not the game, but the surreal atmosphere, players voices echoing, canned chanting, no handshakes, and the deathly silence when the canned chanting at full time was eerie.
I watched the cologne game behind closed doors before lockdown and that was horrible viewing also.
If I’m honest I will find it hard to watch premiership games in these circumstances even if it’s my team playing. You know when you’re watching your team and they score a dramatic last minute winner and you leap off your sofa and scream and spill beer on your wife’s new rug 😀.
Can’t see this being the case in that sort of funereal atmosphere.
Football/sport is only what it is due to the crowd participation/atmosphere.
