Celtic are in Scottish Cup quarter-final action at St Johnstone and are now odds-on trophy favourites after Rangers' surprise defeat at Hearts.
I tipped Steven Gerrard's men to win but was concerned when I saw the line-up with no Alfredo Morelos. The manager ditched his top scorer for returning 24 hours late from a short break in Colombia – and ultimately paid the penalty.
It was a bad night for Gerrard with Liverpool losing their invincibility tag but more importantly the title's in the bag. I've said all season Liverpool would be beaten – and well done to Sean for tipping Watford.
I ended February on a low-key note with low stakes bets on a difficult card. My English both to score treble won at 5-1 to make it a break-even day.

Fancy city to pummel villa tomorrow. A lot was made of the city line up the other night being “tactical genius” and a masterclass, and it probably was to a certain extent, but I think part of it was also just down to keeping certain players fit for a cup final. Hi double handful, the strike rate for Both NAP and NB was 12/19 which meant 63% each. If your struggling there’s plenty of people on here you could follow depending on what your betting preferences are. I’d wager Greg’s NAP % would be higher than that.

we’ve not been poor since the winter break we’ve been poor for 9 years now, i’m not jumping on the bandwagon as i’ve never fancied gerrard from the start, last thing we needed was a rookie manager with celtic going for 8, 9 & 10 been too many managers with no experience mccoist, warburton, caixinha now gerrard, slavan bilic was interviewed for the job and would have jumped at the chance and said as much in the press at the time, now look where wba are and where we are, leaving morelos out was another huge mistake (one of numerous gerrards made) also the defence is woeful but i blame gerrard for that too far to much chopping and changing and blaming the players in public when their form is poor, the blame is at gerrards door not the players, going by his post match comments it appears that he will seriously considering his position in the next day or so and so he should, there has been no so called “progress” we are in the same position as last year no further forward other than gone an extra round in the EL, to be fair we have been excellent in europe but that should be the icing on the cake its the bread and butter you stand and fall by, can’t see this current crop of management and the majority of players doing anything more next season than they are doing at present therefore a choice has to be made if not by gerrard then the board, imo gerrard will be allowed to stay if he chooses to do so as we dont have the resources to terminate his contract and replace his poor buys and get rid of the high earners, £7m for kent should never have been allowed in the current climate, not saying hes a bad player just that the money should of been spread about better…………..

He was rightly dropped and he broke the rules and it’s not the first time. Hearts are garbage and will probably struggle to win a game again for a few weeks. The team put out yesterday was more than good enough to beat hearts but the tactics were poor and the players attitude was poor and it wasn’t the first time domestically since the winter break.

It doesn’t matter who the manager is as it takes at least 3 to 4 years to get the team where you want them,Gerrard wont have all the players he wants yet as he hasn’t been there long enough.Success isn’t instant especially with Rangers being out the top flight for so long,a good run in the Europa league might just put some much needed funds in the coffers for better players,Morelos needs to be sold as he is a massive liabilty for the club and that could be having an effect in the dressing room.If Rangers keep sacking managers then they will never be successful.

Had a bet on Christie to score anytime from outside the box. He scored direct from a free kick outside the box. Initial thoughts were that Jullien for a touch but he didn’t. Every source ie LiveScore, bbc football etc shows that the goal was awarded to Christie. Post match interview with Christie and Jullien and they agreed it was Christie’s goal. Skybet however have settled the bet as a losing bet when it should have been a winner.
