LIVERPOOL proved Anfield is still a fortress and Rangers edged closer to ending 10 in a row on a busy Sunday.
Leicester were tipped by many to win but fell well short while Rangers hammered Aberdeen 4-0 to move 11 points clear of Celtic and that's a significant lead.
Spurs now lead Liverpool at the top on goal difference but the Reds look the team to beat as they continue to win without key players while the transfer window draws ever nearer.
Liverpool have been cut by Coral to 7-5 (from 7-4) to win the Premier League with Manchester City out to 11-4. Spurs are 5-1, Chelsea 11-2 and Leicester way out to 33-1 with Manchester United.
Considering the players they have out it was a superb display by Liverpool as they made it a club-record 64 unbeaten at home and they certainly look the side to beat.
Man United are out to 15-8 with Coral to finish in the top four with the firm making Liverpool, Manchester City (both 1-16), Chelsea (4-9) and Tottenham (1-2) all odds on for a Champions League spot. Leicester are out to 3-1 while Arsenal are 9-2.
Celtic have two games in hand on Rangers but could be 14 behind by the time they next play and the way Steven Gerrard's men are performing I wouldn't back against them. Rangers are no bigger than 2-7 with Celtic out to 11-4 at bet365.

Said a few weeks ago that when they went out to 15/8 for the league I thought that was a great bet. They have players missing but without VVD they aren’t playing the high line that was giving opponents numerous chances and they also look a lot more solid without Gomez and TAA as most of the goals they conceded came down their side.
Nothing wrong with playing a high line as the big sides have to be able to cope with being exposed.It’s worked thus far winning a Champions league and a Premier league title.
