MY focus was on France and on Sunday and Monaco and Marseille won away to complete a nice 7-1 treble.
Rennes kicked the line off on Saturday and their Ligue rivals did the business on Sunday.
It was a pretty quiet day but well done to all the winners. Celtic got back on track with a 3-0 win against Motherwell while Aberdeen notched a fine 1-0 win at Hibs.
We're now faced with a quiet midweek and Monday will almost certain be a no-bet day for me.
All we have is an Eerste league game between De Graafschap and Den Bosch, Lahti v Inter in Finland and Norrby v Orgryte in Sweden.
There are some friendlies to look at but nothing much stands out and some will be following the Belgian Under-21 league.
