THE Premier League's long weekend ends with Chelsea v Man United before the Champions League knockout stage begins on Tuesday.
Man United probably need a win to maintain slim hopes of Champions League football next season while a Blues victory will put them in the driving seat in the race for fourth – and of course fifth could be good enough depending on how Man City's ban appeal fares.
United have had the upper hand this season with home and away wins over the Frank Lampard's men but I fancy Chelsea to take the points against a side without a goal in three.

No it’s not the echo’s wish list,it’s only right that they should be deducted points after they have been found guilty of cheating.If the boot was on the other foot it would be the same from them.The points deduction will probably come this week they have been found guilty so even if they appeal it will only be a lighter fine.
Personally, I don’t think a points deduction is harsh enough. If found guilty then They cheated every team, not just the team that finished 2nd. Should have to repay all prize money won and be demoted. They are of course protesting their innocence and say they have proof that will exonerate them so we will just have to wait and see.
In that case United should be handed the 2018 title when we finished 2nd

I will say that Braga have been on an incredible run of form of late. Unbeaten since early December winning 9/10 games drawing just 1.
As I mentioned they’ve taken some pretty big scalps in that time beating the only 3teams considered to be better than them in their league.
Also, the league is somewhat out of their reach thanks to a slow start. I just think the price of double chance alone is too big.

Wonder if Greg has any thoughts on the Hamilton v Queen of the South reserve game today? I know you should always be slightly wary of reserve/youth games but the prices on offer at the minute seem very generous.
Hamilton currently sit top of the SPFL reserve league with 8 wins from 11 games. QotS are rock bottom with 10 defeats in 12, conceding 45. Hamilton hammered them 5-0 away from home at the end of November. Yeah gooner, at this moment in time no team in their right mind would come out and attack Liverpool and play an open game against them, (except Salzburg probably) and the fact that its a 2 legged knockout tie makes me think Atletico would sign up for a 0-0 right now, and that’s what they will try and do. I’ve basically gave up watching the EPL as VARs a disgrace. I’ve already said it but as Monday is a poor day I can’t help but watch what should been a great game but I don’t watch football to see goals chopped off for s toe offside ESPECIALLY when they reckon there’s up to 15 inches of error with the lines they put up in freeze frame. It’s not Hawkeye,as in accurate to within an inch so how can you chop goals off for a guys foot being an inch off.
