After making it six successive winners in Canada in the early hours of Sunday morning, Monday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Swedish top flight, and I’ve highlighted one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals.

Two clubs separated only by one point in the Allsvenskan table meet at the Örjans Vall tomorrow evening as ninth-placed Halmstads play host to 11th-placed AIK in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Magnus Haglund’s hosts have scored 18 goals across their opening 13 fixtures in the Swedish top flight, with 11 (61%) of them coming on home soil.
HBK have found the back of the net in nine of their previous 12 league outings, scoring on multiple occasions in five of their last nine – including in three of their previous four at home – and I’m backing them to find the target against an AIK backline that is without a clean sheet and conceded an eye-watering 20 goals on their travels all season, shipping multiple goals in 5/6 (83%) of them.
Interim boss Henok Goitom has seen his side score 24 goals across their opening 13 fixtures in the Swedish Allsvenskan this term, with six (25%) of them coming on their travels.
The Gnaget have found the back of the net in 12 (92%) of their league outings – only failing to score away at leader’s Malmö – and will look to trouble a Halmstads backline that has recorded only two clean sheets across their previous 10 league outings, conceding an eye-catching 21 goals.

AIK’s opening 13 Allsvenskan fixtures are averaging a league-high 4.08 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals banking in each of their previous eight – and given the same has landed in seven of Halmstads last nine league outings, including each of their previous four at home – I’m happy to have a punt on there being a minimum of three strikes in Southern Sweden tomorrow evening.
