Sunday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Korean top flight, and there’s one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals at both ends.

3rd in the Korean top flight welcomes 2nd to the Seoul World Cup on Sunday morning as FC Seoul host the Pohang Steelers in a fixture that appeals to me for goals at both ends.
FC Seoul are the second-highest scorers in K League 1 this term, scoring 30 goals, with half of those coming at home. An Ik-soo’s hosts have made the net bulge in all bar one of their opening 17 league encounters – striking on multiple occasions in 10 (59%) of them – and will be confident of breaching a Steelers defence that has registered just one clean sheet and conceded 10 goals across their previous six road trips.
The Pohang Steelers have scored 24 goals in the Korean top flight this campaign, with 10 of those coming on their travels. Kim Gi-dong’s visitors have found the back of the net in 14/17 (82%) of their league contests – striking two or more in eight (47%) of them – and will aim to breach a Seoul defence that has registered just four shutouts this season, and just two at home.

Both Teams to Score has banked in a league-high 12/17 (71%) of FC Seoul’s K League 1 fixtures this campaign – and given both have obliged in 6/8 (75%) of the Pohang Steelers’ away fixtures league outings – I’m more than happy to have a punt on both of these finding the target for the second consecutive meeting this season.
