After making it three successive winners at Luton on Saturday, The opening Football Bet of the Day of 2024 sees me head to the English National League, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals at both ends.

Chesterfield will look to further strengthen their position at the top of the National League table as they welcome 4th-placed Solihull to the SMH Group Stadium this afternoon in a fixture that appeals to me for goals at both ends.

The Spireites have scored in every game on home soil this season – striking two or more goals in 10/11 (91%) of them – and will be confident of extending their goal-scoring run at home against a Solihull defence that’s registered just three clean sheets on their travels in the league this season, with neither of them coming across their previous six.

The Moors have made the net bulge in all bar two of their league contests – scoring on multiple occasions in 13 (52%) of them – and they will look to trouble a Chesterfield defence that has recorded just two clean sheets in front of their supporters, conceding on 16 occasions.
