Today’s Football Bet of the Day see’s me begin in Ligue 1 where goals look a good shout at the home of the champions. Then to Norway in which both teams score plenty of goals but rarely keep clean sheets.
Lille vs Montpellier

Champions Lille host Montpellier at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Sunday. Lille have yet to win in Ligue 1 this season whereas Montpellier grabbed their first win last time out.
Lille looked on course to collect their first league win of the season last time out however St Ettiene equalised in the 85th minute. That was the 8th goal Lille have conceded in only three games. Lille have scored four goals so far and have scored in 16 of their last 20 league games at home.
Montpellier came from behind to defeat Lorien 3-1 last weekend to grab their first victory of the season. Scoring goals has not been an issue so far this season for Montpellier as they’ve already scored 8 goals in their three league games. However, they have conceded 7 goals in those matches and have conceded in 13 of their last 14 Ligue 1 games on the road.
Viking vs Rosenborg

Rosenborg travel to Stavanger to take on Viking at the SR-Bank Arena on Sunday. There’s only three points and three places between both these sides.
Viking come into this after securing a late draw away to Vålerenga. Only three sides have scored more goals in the league than Vikings tally of 31. 19 of those goals have came in Vikings eight games with them only failing to score once. Viking have yet to keep a clean sheet at home though, conceding 12 goals.
Despite defeat in both legs in the Conference League to Rennes, Rosenborg come into this on the back of four league wins on the bounce. Only Molde have scored more than Rosenborg’s tally of 33 this season. 13 of those goals have come on the road, with Rosenborg only failing to score on their travels once. However, Rosenborg are yet to keep a clean sheet on the road this season, conceding 12.
Bet of the Day
Montpellier’s games this season look like they’ll be full of goals and I believe both will score on their visit to stumbling champions Lille. The meeting between Viking and Rosenborg screams goals. It’s a meeting between two of the four highest scoring teams in the league with both sides also struggling to keep clean sheets.
