Following on from Tuesday’s winner in Leipzig, Wednesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the MLS once again, and I’ve highlighted on team who I’m keen to get on side.

Two clubs at opposite ends of the Eastern Conference table meet at Audi Field on Wednesday night/Thursday morning as struggling DC United plays host to in-form Cincinnati – and I’ve come up with a couple of ways to get the visitors on side.
DC United put a halt to their three-match losing streak at the weekend, as they drew 2-2 away at the New York Red Bulls in a match they played with 10 men from the 20th minute.
Whilst that will be deemed a good result for DC in the end, Troy Lesesne’s men are now winless in each of their previous nine MLS contests (W0-D3-L6) – as well as in their last six at home (W0-D3-L3) – leaving them in 13th position in the Eastern Conference, four points outside the playoff places.
Cincinnati bounced back from their surprise defeat at home to the New England Revolution, as they travelled to Texas and claimed an impressive 0-1 victory against FC Dallas at the weekend.
Pat Noonan’s charges have now won 10 of their last 12 MLS encounters, with that win at the weekend seeing them remain in 2nd position in the Eastern Conference, just two points behind Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami.
Bet of the Day
One of the key reasons for Cincinnati’s success so far this campaign is their excellent away record, with no side amassing more points on their travels across both Conferences than them.
The Orange and Blue have picked up 25 points from their 10 road trips (W8-D1-L1) – winning each of their last six – and I’m backing them to continue their excellent away record in the capital against a struggling DC side that is winless in nine (W0-D3-L6) and who has already lost 1-3 & 1-4 to fellow Eastern Conference high-flyers Inter Miami (1st) and New York Red Bulls (3rd) at home.
