Friday's Football Bet of the Day sees me take my usual trip to the goal-laden Dutch second division, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals.

Willem II will look to strengthen their position at the top of the Eerste Divisie table as they welcome the division’s entertainers Cambuur to the Koning Willem II Stadion in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Peter Maes’s hosts are the second-highest scorers in the Dutch second tier, banging in 48 goals across their opening 23 matches, with 27 (56%) of them coming on home soil. The Tricolores have made the net bulge in all 11 (100%) of their league contests in front of their supporters – scoring on multiple occasions in nine (82%) of them – and will be confident of continuing their record in front of goal at home against a Cambuur defence that has registered a solitary clean sheet in the league this season, conceding 43 goals (3rd highest).
Henk de Jong’s visitors are the leading scorers in the Dutch second tier, slamming in 52 goals across their opening 22 matches, with 25 (48%) of them coming on their travels. The Leeuwarden-based club have made the net bulge in all 22 (100%) of their league outings – scoring on multiple occasions in 15 (74%) of them – and will look to find the back of the net once again against a Willem II defence that has recorded just two clean sheets across their last 10 at home.

Cambuur’s opening 22 Eerste Divisie fixtures this season are averaging a league-high 4.32 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals banking in 18 (86%) of them – and given the same has landed in seven of Willem II’s previous 10 encounters on home soil – I’m happy to have a punt on there to be a minimum of three goals, with both sides getting on the scoresheet in what promises to be an entertaining affair.
