Following on from last night’s winner in Freiburg, Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me remain in the Bundesliga, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals and cards.

RB Leipzig will look to continue their push for Champions League qualification as they travel to the Ruhrstadion to take on Bochum in a fixture that appeals to me for goals and cards.

Die Blauen have found the back of the net in all 11 (100%) of their league encounters on home turf this season – scoring on multiple occasions in four of their last eight – and will look to find the target once again on home soil against a Leipzig defence without a clean sheet across their previous eight Bundesliga road trips, shipping multiple goals in six of their last seven.
Marco Rose’s visitors are the fourth-highest scorers in the Bundesliga, banging in 49 goals across their opening 23 matches, with 19 (39%) of them coming on their travels. Die Roten Bullen have made the net bulge in 10/11 (91%) of their road trips – scoring two or more in six (55%) of them – and will look to trouble a Bochum backline that’s registered just four clean sheets in the Bundesliga this season, with just two of those coming on home soil.

RB Leipzig’s opening 11 Bundesliga fixtures on the road this campaign are averaging 3.55 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score banking in eight (73%) of them, including in each of their last six – and given the same has landed in 9/11 (82%) of Bochum’s Bundesliga contest on home soil – I’m happy to have a punt on both of these sides finding the target.
