Friday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to German second tier, and one of the two fixtures in particular appeals to me for goals.

Arminia Bielefeld will aim to move outside the relegation playoff spot as they welcome 12th-placed Greuther Fürth to the SchücoArena in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Uwe Koschinat’s hosts have scored 45 goals in the 2. Bundesliga this term, with 25 of those coming at home. Die Arminen have found the back of the in 11 of their previous 13 league contests in front of their supporters – striking on multiple occasions in eight (62%) of those – and will be confident of troubling a Fürth defence that has registered just two clean sheets across their 15 2. Bundesliga fixtures on their travels this campaign, shipping two or more goals in 12 (80%) of them.
Alexander Zorniger’s visitors have scored 39 goals in the German second tier this season, with 17 of those coming away from home. The Kleeblätter have failed to score in each of their previous two 2. Bundesliga fixtures, but prior to that, had found the back of the net in 27 of their last 28 league encounters and will look to get back on the scoresheet against an Arminia defence that has kept a league-low two clean sheets in the German second-tier this campaign.

Both Teams to Score has banked in 12 of Greuther Fürth’s previous 14 2. Bundesliga fixtures on their travels – and given the same has landed in 10 of Arminia’s last 13 at home – I reckon there’s a strong chance we’ll see the pair get on the scoresheet here.
