IN a way tonight's FA Cup replay is a tie neither side needs as league points are the priority.

But it might be the only game they can triumph in – with neither experiencing a league victory since New Year's Day.

After slumping to the foot of the Premier League Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen says “defeat is not an option” and that he'll field “a strong team”.

His side were awful as they crashed 3-0 at home to Southampton on Saturday but meet a Blades side who were as bad in losing 3-0 to relegation rivals Crewe.

Fulham won 3-0 in their last replay against Norwich and I'm backing them at a biggest 7-10 with William Hill. Ladbrokes offer8-11in shops on at least a five-timer.

Star signing Kostas Mitroglou and others who arrived on deadline day are ineligible so I'm looking at Darren Bent at 9-2 with bet365 to score first while Steve Sidwell is an anytime scorer option at 4-1 with 888sport.

Blades won at Aston Villa in the previous round but that was partly down to Paul Lambert's indifference to the tournament.

Recommended Bets

Fulham
(7-10, William Hill)

Sidwell to score
(4-1, 888sport)

I like the look of Fulham -1 Asian Handicap @ just over evens, so if they win by 1 the bet is void, decent price & also a bit of a safety net.

As a Blade myself I am going to be all over Fulham tomorrow as we are just woeful at the minute.

We had one of the best defences in the league last season and on paper we’ve improved it but we seem to be moving backwards. Plus, we’ve only scored 8 goals away from home in the league this season.

Markets I will be looking at are …
    Fulham (7/10)
    Fulham -1 (13/8)
    Fulham HT/FT (29/20)
    BTTS – No (20/23)

Having watched Sheff Utd first hand on Saturday against my team Crewe, I see nothing but an easy win for the premiership side. Sheffield had a great win at Villa in the last round but I wouldn’t touch em with somebody else’s money…..

I Like Dempsey 6/1 score first he defiantly has a goal in him,
I’ve backed -1 & -2 just hope fulham actually want to win and are not scared of doing a Wigan
