IT was a no bet day for me yesterday but tonight sees another action-packed Europa League card and with these matches being second legs we should expect to see more goals with many of the ties finely poised.
Aberdeen chucked their first leg after conceding two late goals which all but ended their hopes of getting through to the playoffs. They can dream though and will still feel they can get back into the tie at Pittodrie. An away goal kills the tie and I'd expect the Rijeka to score although Aberdeen are more than capable and need to go for it.
Aberdeen vs HNK Rijeka (7.45pm)
A moment of madness by Dons defender Shay Logan has left Aberdeen with a mountain to climb if they are to overcome their Croatian opponents. A needless penalty given away and now they need to score at least twice to stay in the tie and hope they don't concede.
It was a disaster of a week for Derek McInnes' side – that defeat last week in Croatia was followed up by a lacklustre performance in Paisley as they went 1-0 down to St Mirren. To make matters worse top scorer Sam Cosgrove is out with a hamstring injury and he'll be a massive loss.
Be another near full house for Aberdeen and if they can nick an early goal who knows what could happen – I just feel Rijeka are a good enough side to cause the Scots real problems, especially on the break and with Aberdeen having to go for it as the match progresses, I'd expect it to be an open affair – odds against over 2.5 goals looks too good to miss out on especially given the probability of both sides scoring.
The Dons are unbeaten in their last 12 home matches in Europe, scoring in 10 consecutive games and these two fought out a 2-2 draw here back in 2015.

As most of you will know I'm a huge fan of the total goals markets and I'm pleased and surprised Sky Bet are offering this market tonight. They are offering 10 games from the 6pm KOs and 10 from the 7.30pm ties onwards.
I posted this market on Tuesday for the National League and it delivered again, landing 34 goals (31+ needed at evens).
I'm on the second group of games that include Wolves v Pyunik, Frankfurt vs Vaduz, PSV and Rangers are both at home and Braga's games have seen goals galore. I think this has a fantastic opportunity to land with goals totals of 33 and 35.
